Do not book through RED DUNES SAFARI +971 56 103 7744, they ignore your calls and whatsapps when you query about your package not being served correctly. Even rude when you call to ask for what you paid for. This camp is an absolute waste of time and money. Do not pay for VIP service because you will recieve nothing extra other than being served cold food and no dessert because everyone else has already finished it. The guides and staff are rude and it seems once they recieve their payment it doesnt matter what happens thereafter. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Most desert safaris are a scam anyway, didnt expect this one to be also. They claim a full BBQ but there was only chicken drumsticks? The pasta is just boiled with no flavour or sauce. When you ask for the VIP service and activities you paid for, you get gaslighted and chased away to another person. Dune bashing doesnt exist, did not recieve such. Overall, its a tourist trap and they overinflate prices to trick people into paying them. 100 dirhams for ice cream? No thanks. Horrible. 0/5 stars. Better take yourself and your family elsewhere. Not worth it.

The most interesting thing is that before entering the desert, tourists rest at a roadside stop, while the driver deflates the tires to make them softer so they can run on the sand. Only 2-wheel drive Land Cruiser cars are eligible to go into the desert. If tourists start their journey across the Arabian desert in the late afternoon, around 5 oclock, the sunlight is no longer so intense and the heat on the sandy sea is also milder. At one point, the car tilted almost upside down on the edge of the sand hill. At the beginning of this experience, visitors will feel panic for about 15 minutes after getting used to the strong feeling, visitors will be extremely excited with the drivers acrobatics. The irresistible beauty of sunshine and golden sand makes visitors constantly point their lenses outward to take pictures. If you have ever watched on television the cross-desert road race called Dakar Rally, you will imagine part of the journey to explore the Arabian desert in Dubai.

The woman who was doing henna tattoos here on 9/6/2023 stole my gold and diamond rings. My travel guide tried to recover them but was told today that this woman allegedly disappeared and will not be returning my rings. I paid her generously for a henna tattoo and this is the treatment that I receive. I thought there were no thieves in dubai. It seems I was wrong. To the henna woman, what kind of culture do you have at home that you would steal from someone who gave you business and was absolutely kind to you. One of those rings was a precious heirloom from my grandma and I can never replace that. I will never recommend this place to anyone. If you come here, do not bring any valuables, it will get stolen

When we booked the desert route excursion, we didnt think it would be so good, it was amazing to be in the dunes with the 4x4 and then the show and the food were great. We loved the guys with the fire, and our guide, the best, explained to us everything related to Dubai. A great day.

The staff are very rude ..and unprofessional.we visited yesterday and the package is not like the promised one.I m the camp the few staffs are behaving very very rude and they told me there will be seating arrangement and accordingly we can sit. However we are keep on searched and we couldn t find out the proper one.finally we sit one tabla and then staff came and shouted very rude. Rather than providing correct way they advised to shift some where he asked to move from there Same situation happened to many peoples Very bad and not recommended at all

An amazing place to explore. It has a lot of interesting activities, performances and food. The sand dunes are something else To Shisha lovers, there is free shisha and free coffee. Its worth it. I would NEVER recommend Royal Adventure Camp to anyone. They advertise in the newspaper but some of their guys(Jahan) cheat people. We were a group of 6 with kids and elders Few of our experiences. 1. We paid for the VIP package and promised the table in front of stage but gave some side table. We called him(Jahan) and he kept saying he is doing something And later stopped taking the calls. Probably he took cash for VIP and showed normal to agency. God knows. 2. The package had table service of Falefel, cold drinks, water but the service was pathetic. The servers were all very rude. They served water and later gave Z Cola instead of Coke, 7up etc. They gave excuse that your package is not VIP though took money for VIP. 3. The driver (Sami) who drove us inside the desert was extremely rude. 4. Food they served us in table. All food was cold. They filled thermocol plates and kept on table and 90% food for wasted. It was a shame how they were hiding dessert from guests. 5. They advertise camel ride. Its less than 20 metre . If you want more, pay additional. 6. In the name of Heena, they made a Heena Tattoo and asked for money for more 7. They had 3 shows , belly dance, Tamura and Fire show . They all were good but by that time we were really disappointed with the treatment. Overall abysmal experience. Would recommend all to stay away from such operators .

There was special offer till June end 2023. Desert safari for self drive till their came near maleha Road is AED25/per person. Its included camel ride, small henna design, sand boarding, buffet food with beverages, belly dancing, tanura and fire dancing. There is quad bike riding option with additional 50dhs. U can hold the falcon for additional 10aed.

Went with high expectations but initial itself vehicle wasnt upto the mark .. this had to wait 2 hours for new vehicle .. later at camp the table and food was also ok ok only.. 3 stars for the performances at royal camp , the belly dancers , fire show etc and the effort by the supervisor . With my experience, wouldnt recommend.

This is the second time weve done a tour like this. The first one in 2012 was a highlight - few people, good food and the peace and quiet in the desert. Unfortunately today there is only mass tourism, the ride in the jeep is great. Everything that happens in the camp is a disaster, first you sit around for 1.5 hours before you eat. During this time you are constantly harassed to buy something or spend money on something stupid. The food afterwards was tasteless and the meat was completely dry. All in all, unfortunately only Ballermann in Dubai. Its a shame it could be so beautiful

Its a different ride. Its good because you see a small part of the desert and you change a little and stop seeing the city. The camp takes you to an oasis style, bridging the difference. The food is passable and the bad thing is that they want to sell you everything. And in the desert you see that people leave a lot of dirt

A place in the middle of the desert, set up for tourism like everything in the UAE, but a nice spectacle The buffet food they serve is good, although there is nothing that you can say is of quality or different. The place is in the middle of desert, so we enjoyed the 2nd desert racing. The foods was not good at all, with only grilled chickens. I had impression in a chicken farm where were the chickens :-D The shows of Arabian dances were nice, but not so wonderful comparing to other places, other countries. Finally, toilets may be another bad point for tourists, but... maybe its difficult to find a better place in the desert.

Lets be clear: its expensive to spend a lot of time...being asked to buy or spend more. A bit painful. The driving part in the dunes is really good (depending on the driver but there, we were spoiled). Otherwise, stop to ride the quad (75 euros for 20 minutes), request for the camel ride, the photo this, the clothing that, ... The meal is finally dispatched and the show ok but nothing more. Real dissatisfaction: the tables allow hookah and no luck if you endure it. They could isolate them. So, we do it for the memory but the pleasure is nuanced.
