We bought an apartment in early 2023 in the Shoreline Apartments, Palm Jumeirah. The seller was represented by Arabian Estates in form of agents Tom Hastings and Danial Mokhtari. Before the purchase we asked them to perform a check of the air condition unit and some ducts. Our request was postponed time after time and the excuses were always that either the tenant was not available, so there would be no access to the apartment or the maintenance team would not be available. Yet we should not worry because everything was in perfect order. After making the deposit to secure the apartment, this went on and on until the purchase, which needed to be completed otherwise the deposit would have been lost. There was also some obvious bad smell in the apartment so clearly there was something wrong. These issues never got fixed before the handover and we had to spend the money on repairs after the purchase knowing beforehand that this would be the case. Now heres whats shocking. So did Tom and Danial. I have prove in form of WhatsApp messages between them and the tenant saying that they had a quote from a maintenance company to fix the issues, but they thought that the cost of the repair would be too high and were not willing to present this to the owner. In the same message they also told the tenant not to mention anything to us, the new buyer, as to not scare us and move away and cancel the deal and go with another agent. All the apartments in Shoreline are represented by several agents. This would have obviously meant that they would have lost out on their commission. This behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and I would recommend everyone to avoid this company and especially these two agents at all cost.

However, we have spoke to Leon in person, he found him very genuine and easy going, we have told him exactly what we were looking for. Such an amazing hassle free experience of buying a property and I must say that this can be only achieved if you have a professional Agent (Leon Wright). Have dealt with many agents before and never felt so comfortable, secured and most of all very approachable.
