A few months ago we started our search for a family home. We had met and spoken with many agents, friends and contacts with endless viewings. We ended up crossing paths with Noor Baderaldin during a viewing with another agent and we knew straight away that her understanding, knowledge experience in the area we were looking shined through. It became very clear to us that there was only one person out of 100s that we wanted to help us in our search. Being a family with children and both having full time jobs is was not and easy task when it came to viewings and likewise logistics later on. Noor was so flexible and we knew she was doing this because she cared for us as her client and actually listened to our brief. We were in an urgent situation due to our rental property flooding and as a mother herself she fully understood our situation with children in mind. We found an amazing property and despite this not being one of her listings that didn t stop her. She worked tirelessly to get us the house we had found and from day 1 nothing was too much hassle. She has all the skills, knowledge and good old fashioned grind mentality to push, apply pressure where needed and keep her clients best interests at heart. We bought a house in Mira and the realtor J.Y, only cared about her commission. Once the cheque was handed to her she didn t care for the house, she didn t show for the handover, she left us the keys in a white trash bag, the house had a horrible rotten smell and was full of animal feces and remains of death birds. Also when she offered the house she said all work perfect. Now we realise the air conditioner doesn t work at all and the water pumps neither. All this transaction felt like a scam and when we wrote an email to the MD we got a late answer but only justifying the actions of her agent. Never an apology, never tried to make it up.

To the BEST Real Estate Agent in Dubai, Ms. Amanda Strachan of Lindas Real Estate Firm in Dubai! For a newbie in Dubai, moving with my family, with not a lot of time as my work needed me to shift to Dubai at the earliest, I am so fortunate that through good luck and blessings, I bumped into Amanda Strachan of Lindas Real Estate. Literally, I spent almost 3 weeks dealing with other agents from other Dubai based firms, some were nice, but many were not that honest, and transparent in their information. But Amanda, a God Sent, my business partners and I were able to see a property on Damac Hills 2. As I was pre-occupied with other urgent matters in Dubai with the set up of our business, a close friend of mine was assisting me with the house search, and thankfully, he was able to source the unit from the internet, and when we arrived, what a relief that we met Amanda at the front door. From the onset, we were extremely pleased to speak with her, and you could immediately witness first hand how different she is from the mass of agents that do real estate business in Dubai. It was literally our last night in Dubai, and needed to secure a place before we travelled back to Canada. I was to return in 2 weeks, and Amanda did everything she could and then some to ensure the property was finalized for my family and I to move in. She oversaw the entire handover, maintenance, upkeep and preparation for me on my behalf while I was not in Dubai. She kept me updated at all times, and I wholeheartedly trusted her with the keys to my leased home. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I dont think it gives it enough justice as to how my wife, my kids, my business partners, and I are grateful to Amanda for everything she has done for us with this property transaction, and still continues to look out for me even though I have moved in by ensuring any unforeseen maintenance issues are addressed immediately. Hello, i worked with Mrs Zaineb. I rented a Villa in Arabian ranches last July. All was well and she was very helpful at the start , until I decided to move out this February. I paid everything in advance to the landlord she represents. I gave them a 4 months notice and guess what: they couldnt rent out the house to someone else in 4 months in one of the most demanded areas , however this didnt really bother me since they wanted way above the current price , its their choice. They just decided to use my money and keep the villa empty and maybe rent it out for a price that doesnt exist. So far so hood , no issues with me , apart from bad practice by the landlord and the agent , for which they have the right to do whatever they want. What my actual issue is that since i gave them the notice of leaving mrs Zaineb started answering on her whatsapp once every 2-3 weeks and the landlord didnt answer at all. I am supposed to get my property deposit on july 15th this year, when my contract ended. Month and a half later i havent received a cent and i just received invoices for repairing things that were not broken and overpriced services for painting without even asking me. I used the property for about 6-7 months and now they are trying to charge me for repainting the whole property , fixing a water pump which was perfectly working and havent repaid my deposit at all. All the house was perfectly painted apart from 3 walls , which were used in the kids rooms and for that they send me an invoice for 1500 dhs. Which is the price of repainting the whole house. I explicitly said to Mrs Zaineb i agree those walls can be repainted at my expense and im ok in paying 500 dhs for the 2 house of work it requires. The walls are 2x2 and the damage is very minor , which normally anyone would not even repaint. This is a way of scamming renters and i will file a court case against the landlord and the broker for working together on this scheme. The broker has been numerous times in the property and knows that it was in a perfect condition when i left it as discussed with her in front of other brokers that came to see the property. I also have neighbours as witnesses. This is a great scheme of getting additional money for the landlord or the broker managing it or both. I have no proof yet , that MRs Zaineb has anything to do with this , but the mere fact that she answers my messages after a few weeks each time says it all. The rest the court will determine. They will both receive calls and invitations from my lawyers very soon , for small money that they are trying to extort from me and i was kind enough to notify them both 4 months before my contract ended where i should have a month before that as per my contract. Thats what a good customer gets here.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Marie trying to find my new home. The process of purchasing a home and having to deal with agents is usually not a very pleasant experience and a very in-transparent one. Marie is a refreshing and rare exception: she is very transparent, always on time, keeps you up to date and communicates open and honestly. Jenny recently showed us several properties to rent that fulfilled our tick box. Jenny was always punctual, helpful, informative and a pleasure to meet. It s not always easy to view apartment after apartment and can be stressful and time consuming. We were very undecided about a couple of apartments but Jenny was extremely patient and arranged for second and even third viewings . Jenny made the experience a much easier one and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for apartments to rent, especially on the Palm or Marina.
