We recently bought our family home through Joy Eaton and she was 10/10. We had registered our requirements for a bit of a unicorn home a while ago, Joy called us with an off market opportunity and it was perfect! I had the pleasure of working with Haus & Haus, in particularly Natalie Harris, this summer in relation to the simultaneous sale of my existing unit and the purchase of a new unit in Downtown. I had been struggling to sell my existing unit for several years and with Natalie s magic touch, we managed to complete the sale within a week of the listing and at a price which I was previously unable to imagine! With Natalie s support I also found my dream unit again after having viewed countless properties for several years. I would just like to take the opportunity to thank and recommend my broker from my recent property purchase, Chris Lock. From the outset of the process, Chris was nothing short of fantastic. He communicated with the seller on my behalf and negotiated a good price for the property. He was available on the phone at all hours of the day to alleviate any concerns I had, no matter how trivial, and was available, in person, at every key milestone during the purchase process. It was clear over the course of the process that my needs took precedent over everything else: he made sure addendums were added to the contract and translated into Arabic to protect my interests and took the time to produce a detailed review of proeprty prices in the community when the initial valuation came back below what we had hoped for (thankfully, the valuation was amednded as a result of this document). I never felt rushed to make decisions, even though that meant Chris comission was held up. I must admit, before this process, I was quite sceptical of the significance of having a property broker when purchasing a property; but without Chris knowledge and expertise, I would not have secured the property I live in today. I feel like I am now in a postion to give advice to friends as a result of lessons I have learned from Chris. I could not reccomend Chris highly enough, and whenever I am speaking to people thinking about investing in property, Chris will be the first person I direct them towards.

After living abroad for 8 years, this is by far the worse estate agent I have dealt with. It took 7 weeks after leaving the property to receive my deposit back. I was constantly ignored by my consultant Victor and his manager Louisa was just as unhelpful. When leaving the property, I had to actually go to Haus and Haus to find Victor because he was ignoring the fact that I was leaving Dubai. What tenant has to chase their agent (literally)? It wasn t until I said I would report them to RERA that action was finally taken. Victor was coming up with 7 weeks of excuses blaming the landlord. I also had to get my friend to contact him because I was no longer in the country and again my emails and messages were being ignored. After leaving the rental in better condition than when I moved in, 2000AED was still taken from my deposit for repairs that I wasn t even consulted about even though Victor was present during the move out. I also had to fight for 42 days of rent to be returned to me as I left the property before the contract ended but I gave 2 months notice and my contract clearly stated that I should be returned any money if I give at least 2 months notice. Victor said it was the landlords decision whether or not that money would be returned to me but why have a contract in place then? Absolutely ridiculous! Haus and Haus should be embarrassed with how they operate. They are untrustworthy and completely incompetent. I m glad I never have to deal with them again. This review is being polite as well.

Finally received my title deed, all thanks to Reece. Reece has literally been a 1 man army in this deal, he was doing jobs of 3 different people at the same time, sorting things with banks, conveyancer, trustee office, developers. Reece wasnt even my state agent, he was the sellers state agent, even with that, he did so much work for me to help get the deal done as fast as possible. Without Reece, it would have taken at least another month for this deal to happen. He is on another level compared to all state agents I have worked with. If you need a deal that needs to happen quick, Reece is the man. From start to finish, he was very humble, easy to reach and respectful. Haus & Haus is lucky to have him!

We had to pay h&h because they were the exclusive agency for the house we rented. The agent never even showed up, he never reviewed the contract, the landlord information was absent and when we went to Ejari office we were told the landlord signature doesnt match the ID. These should have been basic checks for the contract. Once we sorted the contract we went to check the house prior to lease start date and it was an absolute mess. Nothing has been fixed during the period of finalizing the lease. In the end we moved 5 days after the lease start date which resulted in extra cost in customs for our goods and additional hotel stay. The attitude of the agent (over the phone of course, never met in person) was not necessarily pleasant either. Overall, very disappointed with the service - which there was none.
