Better than what? I paid Better Homes a substantial commission to rent our apartment. They did not, however, follow their own processes to introduce us to the landlord and conduct a pre-handover inspection. At the handover, none of the promised cleaning or repairs had been done, and we had to move into a filthy apartment. Their response has been to blame the landlord (also their client as they are the listing agent), point to legal disclaimers, and offer less than 10 percent of the commission as goodwill. I am struggling to see what is Better about this experience.

I ve moved from London to Dubai in April 2025 and I was shocked about how difficult and pricey renting a home can be here The most shocking was to find out what a bad customer service some estate agents provide. I then was very very lucky to find Mandy from better homes!!! She found me the perfect home and helped to negotiate an amazing rental price with the property owner. She was very friendly, professional and extremely empathetic - which is not very common here in Dubai with estate agents. A great experience and quick experience with Olly Banks! I have been in Dubai for a week and started the apartment search. I used property finder and contacted multiple agents but no response, apart from Olly who reached out late at 10pm to confirm a few viewings - one in marina and one on Emaar beachfront. I settled on Emaar beachfront and he was flexible in helping me pay for the deposit by bank transfer (if anyone knows, you usually need to have a bank account and chequebook). He was professional, helpful and not too push. I d highly recommend.

I ve had a FANTASTIC experience with Better Homes all thanks to the wonderful Chen Yong. I was looking for an appropriate rental in my budget in JLT Dubai and came across their ad on propertyfinder. Chen was super responsive, helped me through the negotiation with the landlord, was very accommodating and helpful and guided me through each step of the way (very necessary being a new expat in this city!). She was truly an agent for both the landlord and tenant in our case and I know if I have any property related needs in the future, I will go back to Chen! I bought my first property in Dubai recently with Betterhomes. I came in touch with Manoshi from an online platform and she showed us an absolutely beautiful flat. But it was out of range at that points. Some things changed and we had forgotten about this flat but Manoshi informed us the moment seller reduced prices a bit. Since that day to the closure of the loan, supporting in all paperwork and always very promptly answering my 100s of queries, Manoshi has been excellent. I felt Betterhomes is a bit expensive and would have rated them 3 or lesser even at the time of finalising this flat, but the support I got from Manoshi after sale and during paperwork made me realise its always better to go with a reputed company like Betterhomes. They also had a great propety lawyer in the form of Danna who ensured registration and loan disbursal is smooth and easy. But I dont think everyone can be as good as Manoshi. She doesnt treat it as a job, I know the difference when I see it. She takes extreme ownership, responds to queries even at 11 PM in the night, kept me updated when even I wasnt following up to keep my anxiety down. Very professional and still goes way above what I can expect from someone in a job. Kudos to Betterhomes for creating such a culture and nurturing such employees. And the best part is, after everything was done and I took possession of the flat, till date Manoshi helps me fix issues with maintenance or building management etc. For a somewhat major issue with the balcony doors, she even volunteered to pay from her pocket. Cannot appreciate her enough. I almost feel bad to reach out to her for only official help, we as a family would consider her a friend now and her + betterhomes our go to place for any future investments in UAE.

We have tried to find an apartment in a very short time and the only real estate agent that gave us a service over and above our expectations was from Better Homes. Their agent, Chen Yong, took us personally to ALL the viewings, always being on time, with detailed knowledge about the apartment we were viewing, the owner, and all the building facilities. Worst contract renewal service ever. For a very basic procedure, they failed to identify the correct contract, they failed to guide in any ways, they failed to renew contract on time, they failed to respond on time. Neither customer care nor the office itself cannot help solving the issue. I struggled for 13 days just to renew a basic contract and its still unresolved. Very unprofessional for such a company

I had a horrible experience with this estate agent and I would not recommend at all. They had 2 agents one working with the seller and one working wirh me the buyer. I ended up cancelling the deal because the seller didn t have basic documents required to proceed and in doing so lost out on valuation fees, time and more money and to this day the agency have done nothing to try and compensate my time or money. Don t recommend you this real estate agency at all. Their main goal is to rent out the house and after that they will simply forget about good customer service. We had few issues with apartment we rented through them, only after moving in we found out that some items doesn t work at all and all their response was we don t check anything inside of the house, all we do is just put house on listing and that s all. So before renting from them check all the appliances, in our case oven wasn t serviceable (also there was some issues with leaking water in the bathroom and blocked drain). Also during viewing there was no dewa in apartment so there was no way to check if oven was serviceable or not. So before signing contract with them, make sure to check everything. One of their agent also did miscommunication with our current landlord, and because of that we had multiple issues. After addressing what their employee did, the answer simply was she is not your assistant . Level of customer service is really poor. Instead of making things work, they just blame tenants. For sure will avoid them and will never recommend my friends.

Joke!!! You fall for the brand and they take you for a ride. Stay away from their agents who will sweet talk you and scoot away once the commission is paid. How predictable are you guys ?? The agent was assigned to me and he exactly did what a typical agent does. Hounded me with non stop calls till the time I finalized and stopped taking calls once I started facing issues with Ejari etc. The guy just rented me a furnished apartment saying it will be unfurnished and the owner has agreed to remove stuff. Guess what happened?? None of that was discussed with the owner which I found out later. Thankfully the landlord was good enough so we found a solution. All this is happening when I am 2 days away from moving in and then the agent stops taking calls or probably blocked me out when I am trying to reach him.

I approached Michelle Billing about several properties I was interested in and she was extremely professional and showed me around the exact ones that met my specifications. Once we paid our security deposit we had a slight Hiccup with a counter offer on our property but this was quickly and professionally smoothed over by Michelle. She helped with every step and aspect of a new expat moving to dubai even paying for a quick service Ejari, Dewa links and maintenance services which I later transferred back to her while I was held up in a hotel in Abu Dhabi. She was also contactable on the weekends and late in the evenings as I was working till late most days. She went above and beyond what I expected from an estate agents service. The move in went extremely well and it was undoubtably all down to her organisation and persistence. I highly recommend anyone to speak to Michelle at Better Homes if you want a high quality personalised service.

Trustworthy company and especially Fabio Lombardi. I even sent the total purchase amount to the Better Homes bank account and then they wrote all of the checks and paid who needed to be paid as my bank account was not opened yet. I met other agents from other agencies and some outright lied to me or were just obnoxiously aggressive and not paying attention to what I was saying in terms of what I was looking for. Fabio and his team to close the deal were all professional and always available via WhatsApp or phone.

Top end office, bottom end service. The agent I worked with made everyone suffer. Instead of providing landlords name and account details in clear readable text, she sent me some vague Whatsupp pictures of an account statement with the letterhead cropped out so the name of the bank was not visible. When I asked her to specify the name and swift code of the bank she just said Dont need (why a real estate agent decides what her client does or doesnt need). I insisted and finally she told me the name of landlord POAs bank - which I dint ask for. Result: transfer went to a wrong bank, I had to live extra week in a hotel, the landlord hasnt yet received the money and wants me to make the transfer again - before I can even retrieve the previous wrongfully transferred amount. I lost my money, and may find myself evicted, the landlord is frustrated because he cant get his money. And the agent got her comission of 4K for the only role - of an intermediary between the landlord and the tenant - she failed. And Better Homes will not accept any responsibility for that. Way to go, Better Homes!

Sharing a slightly belated review to thank Liam and Alisher who assisted us in our search for a 2-bed apartment in the Palm Jumeirah. We had a fair share of dealing with other agents before (with extremely poor customer service, delays in responding, random properties suggested for viewing, etc.) whereas Liam and Alisher got things right for us from the outset. They identified the right properties, took time to show us the apartments and the amenities in good detail, gave us helpful background information and explained the process clearly, as well as ensured that all the paperwork was completed smoothly. High price with low quality. 1) Ive paid maximum commission instead of usual 5% 2) Theyve made a lot of mistakes in contract (number of beds, DEWA number) and they didnt check if all documents are ready. For example Ive paid for previous tenant Ejari contract closure. 3) I worked with them more than 1 week and agent even doesnt saved my number! Its seems he even doesnt know my name! 4) They dont keep their promises. The apartment was not ready for move in. I especially do not advise working with Nazir.

Ppl are so unprofessional to tell, get it from owner and owner doesnt pick the call. making ppl run behind the money is really un ethical I can also attach the screenshots and proofs I hold with me. I need our security deposit back. Honestly speaking if you are looking for an apartment in the greens either contact Aaron from All sop or Arta but avoid the better homes folks... they are good in following up to relieve their commission and making sure that the price wont go down so they can share the omission among the 3 of them but will act as if they didnt comitt anything in the after-sales process .. its complete different experience compared to other agencies in the market !!

I even don t want to give them any star at all thou for a non-support from any staff of BETTER HOMES While they take very expensive agency fee comparing to other agency, they don t even support their agent and customers at all. When I called to the agency to try to ask their help for something as my agent can t get through, these staff didn t even try to listen to what my problem is and just told me we have no idea what is the matter, only your agent knows and just ask your agent. These staff never try to support us. I recommend you all not to go to Better Homes. As many other agencies can do much better support in kind mind.

No doubt the absolutely, positively worst property management company in Dubai. We have 32 degrees inside our apartment, the air condition is not working for the last 3 days, there is no communicated plan to us to fix the problem, we have no idea what is happening. And of course, there is no one to talk to. Not a very pleasant situation for someone whom is paying a lot of money for a penthouse in JBR, managed by Better Homes.
