Excellent service. Signed up for home delivery and pickup and they arrived on time and very professional. I first looked at the super discount no-name brands for better pricing but Thrifty was only maybe 5% more but 1,000% easier to use. I am a business professional in Dubai needing second car for month long use and was very happy to find a Thrifty car rental here. Thrifty terminal 3 has improved since I last time I rented maybe before 4 years, the car was new 2024 and clean , the fuel was full , and staff were helpful and friendly especially John , will recommend it. However , the parking was very hot and no air , in the airport terminal 3 , and kinda hectic when traveling with family and kids to reach it. Also, hard to find the parking when returning back the car as you should be precise on the signs to reach it. As they have their own parking space iniside the terminal parking. But I would recommend thrifty dxb 3 to family and friends for sure best of luck for them

They never offer even close to the car you booked , they gaves us Chinese one and i refused so they gave me basic car and locked 3000$ my credit card. After reading most of the reviews here, I had some doubts, but in the end, I had a great experience with them. I was picking up my car, that I ordered online, at about 2AM. After I filled out the papers and paid the deposit with my debit card, I waited about 10-15 minutes for the car to arrive. Now to be fair, I didnt get the exact car that I ordered but an equivalent in the same price category (I ordered a Mazda CX-3 and got a Chevrolet Groove), which I had no problem with. The guy handing me the car pointed out one minor dent and a few scratches. He said, that he already has pictures, so there should be no problem when returning the car. I also took some pictures for myself just in case. Returning the car was even smoother experience. I arrived at about 5AM. Handed over the keys. Guy just inspected the car and took a few pictures of the odometer and interior. Not a single word was said about the dent and the few scratches or any other damage. Then I signed a paper and was told that I will receive the deposit back in 21 days. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Now after about 25 days I received back the deposit. I was only charged about 50 AED for the Salik system, which I expected. So despite some bad reviews that I read, Ive had a great experience and can definitely recommend.

I rented two cars from them, and it has been over four weeks since I returned them, yet I have not received my deposits back. What s even more frustrating is the complete lack of response from the company. I have reached out to them on four different WhatsApp numbers associated with the company and its employees, but not a single reply. This level of disregard for customer concerns is unacceptable. May the peace, blessings, and mercy of God be upon you I rented a 2022 Creta car from the airport, Terminal 3, from my brother, Mr. Mohamed Al-Masry, on (October 17, 2021) at 3 a.m. and delivered the car to your office, Terminal 3 parking lot, on (October 22, 2021) at 10 a.m., intact and clean, and the gasoline was above the half mark. Where I received it on text. No notes were recorded when the car was delivered, and they received the car paper from me and asked me to pay an amount of (42) dirhams as Salik fees, and the amount was withdrawn from the visa. And I traveled. On (October 25, 2021) at six in the evening, an amount of (241) dirhams was deducted from the Visa in favor of your company without any justification and without informing me of the reason for the deduction. Please return the amount withdrawn from the Visa and do not withdraw any amount later. Note that an email was sent for the same topic and no response was received.

Despite all the bad reviews you should pay no attention to them. I had an amazing experience with them. When we first arrived from the UK we went to collect our vehicle and we were upgraded to a larger one! The AC worked super well, it was very clean and drove amazing. Deposit was returned to me through my bank only 2 days after returning the car! I expected the worst from reading all the other reviews. We have a lovely experience with Thrifty. Having seen a lot of the reviews amongst the car rental companies in Dubai we really were apprehensive about hiring a vehicle. Luckily we hired via Thrifty T3. We landed in the early hours of the morning and were met by Fatima, she was polite and very helpful. We even supposedly had an upgrade - the vehicle was a super basic Mazda cx3 but it did the trick with getting us around so no complaints! Irfan was the handy gentleman who helped us load the vehicle and unload on our departure - he went well and above to ensure the luggage squeezed into the vehicle. Again, super polite and helpful and cannot fault whatsoever.. We used our own android auto maps to get around and avoided any toll routes. We incurred one salik charge which was coming out of the airport. Overall, great experience and will be only using Thirty moving forward - the charge on my credit card was also returned promptly minus the salik cost. Thanks again to Fatima and Irfan! Worst customer experience ever. We ve booked a rental car for my dad to our house, as he visited the UAE for the first time. The initial car delivery was delayed by 2 hours (!) and my father had to postpone his appointments in Abu Dhabi. On top of that the pickup of the car that was scheduled at 8pm today only took place at 11pm in the evening (delayed by 3hrs!!!). Hence, we had to cancel our family dinner plans. Very bad service I rented a car from dxb to deliver in abudhabi and I paid the full amount approx 400 AED for less than 24 hours They deducted 2000 AED from my account and after one month they returned 1900 only when I called them they said there is 2% charges plus vat by the bank and I am the one who should pay it so in total I paid approx of 500 AED for a small car!!! At first we got two different prices on the same car. I was informed about salik, I suppose to return car to Abu Dhabi but I changed my mind and I returned the car to Dubai , the agent informed almost 200 AED extra due return the car to different location , when I returned the I asked to return the money or exchange for the fuel which was a bit less than when I took the car. I got charged for fuel and salik. No refund. I called and the agent was the worse person, he said even Saudi knows the rules I didn t know what means by that???? Worst company rental I have dealt with

Good treatment, speedy writing of the contract and delivery of the car, speedy completion of the contract and it was delivered at another airport and their price is excluding comprehensive insurance. It was taken out against third party insurance and new cars and its price is good 87 dirhams per day.

It is an interesting experience for me. I had 2 cars with issues with them and they did send me a 3rd one. Why i give 5 stars is for their service. They did change the car same day regardless of time. They were responsive and helpfully although i was angry and hard on them. Cars can fail service shouldn t and they did give me a good service. THEY FORCE CUSTOMERS TO SIGN A DAMAGE THAT THEY DID NOT DO! RUN AWAY! GO TO BOOK WITH ANOTHER COMPANY violation of Thrifty groups legal process, no check with the customer of the car on purpose, everything was filmed with the cameras! - professional misconduct (Ms. MHH) - she speaks to the customer like dogs (the customers waiting nearby were shocked and intervened to confirm that it was not normal) We indicated on the document that the employee forced us to sign for proof. The MHH employee indicated that if we didnt sign Thrifty was going to take even more money from us than the damage! the employee was blackmailing us, she wanted to blame us for the damage in order to record it in the system. as we did not carry out an inventory on arrival (violation of process, caméra proof!) we asked to see the inventory with photos of the previous ones. She of course refused! We are informing the groups headquarters to denounce and indicate my story on social networks to warn all potential customers of the illegality of the way in which customers are treated contact me if you have/had a problem too and for anyone who wants me to tell them my story.

I can t recommend this company to anybody, they are liars and they try to keep your money to them self. When you have paid the deposit of the car. There is no issue with getting the car, but when you need to get your deposit back, then they keep some money for themselves. I have been in touch with them on the email, about the problem, but they are not willing to help. They just sent a problem to other members of the company.

This agency full of scam. I rented car in this agency in advance and in my voucher I specified Mazda 3 or similar. After I come to the pick-up point they told me I specified wrong terminal in my voucher, which is not true, and they do not have such kind of car but, surprise, they have another one, which is more expensive. When I asked to go to another terminal and take requested car first time, they just ignored my question and continued proposing me with more expensive alternatives. After some time I asked about going to another terminal and taking requested car one more time and, surprise, they finally told me they have requested car in their terminal but the car was not properly cleaned. Finally I decided to take more expensive car since I spent 1 hour waiting for my queue at the pick up point and I just wanted any car. When I was returning the car I was too late to my flight to participate in any car post checks so I just returned the car, signed the papers and moved out. After some time they sent me message about they found small dental on the hamper and charged me additional 70$ from my card without my authorisation (it was charged additionally to deposit which I still didn t return back) in the same time by their policy they should not charge me for small dental at all. I m pretty sure their stuff just decided to use my situation and scam me with this small dental finding since I didn t have any incidents with the car and I always kept the car on private indoor parking. So be informed they will use any convenient situation to provide you with additional charges and they could literally use your card after you returned the car and take your money for this findings without your authorisation additionally to deposit. When I asked to send me some evidences for this small dental, they stopped answering me at all. I believe it was purely scam, I didn t feel like I was dealing with a serious company. Do not believe to any company answers here, they never contact us and never try to help, all these answers here just to lull your vigilance. I will never use this company anymore.

However, upon receiving my deposit refund, I noted a discrepancy of AED 250. During my rental period, I used only two toll gates, and to my surprise, my attempts to communicate this matter via email have gone unanswered. This lack of response has left me disappointed and concerned about the level of customer service provided. I believe in the importance of transparent and fair business practices, and it is disheartening to experience such a discrepancy without proper acknowledgment or resolution. I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and provide a detailed explanation for the shortfall in my deposit refund. I had the worst experience this morning with the employees. When I took the car the man took it from the parking and have it to us but he dis not want us to check nothing he was very fast. So today when I gave back the car, the man Ecobal found a scratch under the car, UNDER. That its normal if you have a car and you park in whatever parking. So he made a big drama and he started saying that it was not to much and they will not take money. We went inside and he was saying to the woman working with him There its a scratch and its big . How can you say that when you said that its not much to us. Anyways they made sign something about that and they were screaming and talking very ugly to us. I am never going to rent from here just because the treat with the people that in the end of all its giving you a job. Ecobal and Arlin were the employees there and they were just trying to take my money. How you can see in the photos they never drove a car in their life so they dont know that that its normal when you park.
