Car service is good but finance/accounts department is not transparent. They are not providing any type of fine receipt and reason of the fine properly. Poor service by finance department, on asking SOA for several times, they are not responding. They are not providing proper proof of the deducted amount. Their invoices are very confusing. They must work on that. Its been 20 days but we have not received any reply from them regarding our previous deductions. I will think twice to before taking car on rent from here.

I had a very bad experience with Shift Rental despite having been a long term customers. I requested the cancellation of my contract on 25th April, and to my surprise, they still have charged me 1 week more after that!!! They havent refunded me the money, so Ive raised a complain with Dubai Economy - very disappointed!

Leased-to-own an Altima from here for 3 years. Regretted it every day of the lease. And then, cherry on top, yesterday was the day they gave me the car. They handed it to me with a broken license place holder. They way they ripped the Salik tag off like they dont care one bit about the windshield. The entire process at the end of the lease period is so disorganized. Four different points of contact. Payment link sent twice even though I paid the first time. They forgot about my deposit completely and needed reminding. Im relieved to have the car and no longer have to deal with Shift again. All they are about is to get the lease contract signed at the beginning. Everything after that is hell. Never again.

ALERT FRAUD -FRAUD FRAUD Dont rent from this cie. Trust me. We receiving fees after A WEEK WITH 70 aed FEES THEN 899 AED, during the next week saying trafic fine caused by phone distraction. Got recommended to shift car rental. Intial interactions and dealings were great all the way from enquiry to picking up the car; thats when it stopped. Its been nearly 2 months since Ive dropped off the car, and in this time got charged excessive amounts for Salik (with no evidence when i quered) and only receiving partial payment of my deposit after being promised the whole amount will be returned after 21 days. (Deposit took 35 days to return) I have been trying to resolve this for the passed month with no luck, and being left on read. Its such a shame ending to what was an initally a great experience - renters, BE AWARE! I wouldnt use SHIFT RENTALS again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Sudarshan Rajan, the Senior Sales Manager from Shift Car, and it was far from pleasant. I have been a loyal customer of Shift Car for a long time, but my encounters with this particular manager have left me frustrated and unsatisfied. First and foremost, Sudarshan Rajans attitude towards regular customers like myself was appalling. Instead of providing the courteous and professional service that I had come to expect from Shift Car, he displayed a dismissive and indifferent demeanor, making me feel like my concerns were unimportant. Another major issue I encountered was the lack of communication from Mr. Rajan. When I had questions or issues with my rental, he seemed disinterested and unresponsive, leaving me in a state of confusion and frustration. Furthermore, Mr. Rajan seemed to lack the necessary skills to effectively satisfy customers. Instead of addressing my legitimate concerns and rectifying the issues, he brushed them aside, showing a lack of empathy and understanding towards my situation. It is disheartening to witness such a decline in customer service from a once-reliable company like Shift Car. I had always praised their services until this unworthy manager appeared on the scene, tarnishing the brands reputation with his poor management skills. I sincerely hope that Shift Car will take the necessary steps to provide additional training to managers like Sudarshan Rajan, teaching them how to prioritize customer satisfaction and handle customers concerns with care and professionalism. Only by addressing such issues can Shift Car reclaim its status as the best car rental company and regain the trust of its loyal customers. In conclusion, my experience with Shift Car, particularly due to the handling of issues by manager Sudarshan Rajan, has been highly disappointing. I am now hesitant to continue using their services until they address the glaring issues with their managerial staff.

Great and affordable cars, just never rent from an hotel or agencies, I made that mistake and paid almost 2x the actual value for the car rented the Renault duster which ought to be 188DHS as at the time of hire but the hotel agencies charged me 288DHS for this hire, it was my first time renting a car abroad so I d consider that a payment for my ignorance but you shouldn t make that same mistake. That aside the customer service are great and very willing to help, they make the entire renting process easy, pickup and drop off reduces the stress for clients and that s not common with most other rental services Also they breakdown the charges of tolls and salik so no hidden charges are made. I have given them 2 stars in 2018 as per the review below. It is amazing that in 2021 this dropped to a single star, or no star at all if Google allowed that. I have been trying to call them to book a car for the last 4 days. No one answers. I leave voice notes, and no one calls back. I call their 800 number and they promise me someone will call me back, and I get completely ignored. They simply do not do communication. Here is my 2018 review: Service is very laid back and slow. I am sure the management can do something to streamline and expedite the procedures. Its not acceptable to wait more than 30 minutes (after payment) to pickup a car in 2018 while you are the only customer at the counter!

Excellent service, accomodating staff and a very good value for money Ever since the first time I rented a car there is no other car rental that has surpassed the quality and cleanliness of the cars provided by shift, it is superb I highly recommend them specially for those who will rent their car for the first time, you can see it for yourself and feel free to share your own experience here. Very reliable service. Best customer care in the UAE. I like the way they work: very transparent and supportive. No hidden charges (car drop off and pick up included, not like some other agency who asked you to drop the car to their workshop or extra charges) Road assistance is included too, they will come right away wherever you are and resolve any issues. I have rented a vehicle from Shift car Rentals for over 5 months. It began with a great an professional person named Ms. Ederlyin ( hope its correct spelling). I rented a Nissan sunny that was so clean, not smelly and sanitized just before delivery. Not to mention the great service during the whole period and support from them. Any clarifications required on salik or traffic fines and payment related enquiries, Ms. Hencel was always on the job with quick email and phone response. Full support. End of the day, there are so many car rental companies in Dubai and UAE. But its all about service and this post is written only to support their team and good company as they have supported me during the rental period. After researching the whole market for weeks, finally I got in touch with Shift Rent a Car. They made the processes so easy and simple. Delivered the car to me at my home as well. Kudos to Mr. Clifred from the Al Aweer Branch who explained everything and made it simple. He was professional, well spoken and crystal clear on the terms and conditions. The car is in an unbelievable and in a pristine condition. I have rented multiple cars before and there nothing like this one. After have lost my job due to Covid19, I had to sell my car and it was very difficult getting around Dubai especially if you live not round any Metro or Bus stations (skeptical of public transport due to increase in Covid19 cases). When it comes to customer satisfaction, there is nobody in Shift car rental who match Shawn Menezes skills to deal with customers professionally. I have been on phone calls with Shawn for hours to finalize a deal and he is has shown his professionalism and nevertheless to say he is exceptionally talented in all aspects when it comes to result, dedication, honesty, and integrity. The worst shop ive ever dealt with. Dont use them guys and dont trust them. They require credit card in order to take deposit however i offered them to pay it by cash but they refused! I am not going to get CREDIT CARD only to rent a car, i dont need it at all. Worse experience and the employee was very rude. Good Luck.

I would like to say that i am really disappointed with Shift, they charged me for smoking in the car for AED 400 and they offered me 50 AED discount and before finalizing with me within second they deducted the money from my credit card, the guy who spoke to me his name is Godin and he was speaking to me as if he was threatening me, i also asked them to send me the signed contract by me where its written that smoking is not allowed and the fine amount for the same and they havent gotten back to me yet, kindly make sure to read the contract thoroughly before signing, i did not have this issue with Diamond Lease rent a car, few of my friends are also returning the car to shift rent a car

Worst Costumer Service one could possibly imagine. Even after I had specifically told them that I will pay for the car rent and the fines in Cash, my credit card was charged twice. My complaint e-Mail has never been responded nor have I gotten any form of apology.

The service here was first class. The information I got prior to arrival in the UAE was very helpful and the process was handled professionally. Very Bad Experience with their Service ... They Put us on trouble We requested for Lease vehicle and we submitted all original documents Including CDC and PDCs. They kept us hanging for past 10days and now they replied that they cannot release vehicle. We have loosed many deals and contracts with their delay of vehicle .THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE Their Sales Representative dont have enough balance in his phone to coordinate with customers. There is more option in market to select services.
