Worse experience I booked Toyota they gave me Suzuki instead. When I booked it online Toyota was more expensive than Suzuki. So when I returned the car they started pointing all small scratches and dents that already were there so they can charge even more. What a ripoff. Do not rent from them.

I am renting a car from the same company for the 3rd time. The service I received this time was very bad. I called 5 times but no one answered the phone. I had to take a taxi from the airport to the office. There were no employees in the office. Ive been waiting for 45 minutes.

It s almost a month and not received my refund. Other rental car refund with 3 days. What kind of service is this . This need to stop. In the first place the credit card was not mandatory and being picked and driving to their location, they requested credit card deposit. Which is ok but not to take more than a month to refund.

They scammed me. Since mid July I have been asking for a refund. I booked a car and they wanted to give me an old cheaper car instead. They wasted 3 hours for me in airport when negotiating them and asking to speak to the manager. There is no manager. There is no office in airport. Until now, then and economy bookings scammed me for more than $200. I still did not get my refund. I refused to drive the car and rented someplace else. I didn t even see them nor drove anything. Still, they charged me and refused to refund. They throw it on broker and broker throw it on them. I will escalate this to Dubai Police because Green Motion are thieves and customer service is terrible. I can t believe they are in Dubai!!

My family of four recently hired a car from GreenMotion in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While we had an enjoyable time in the UAE, we encountered some issues with our booking. The booking voucher and the car rental voucher at the counter contained conflicting information. Although the staff and drivers at the counter were friendly and helpful, there appears to be a lack of communication between the management and the agents. The agents advertise that GreenMotion is located at the airport, and the GreenMotion website corroborates this. However, after making the booking, additional requirements surfaced, such as the mandatory use of a credit card and a substantial deposit of AED 2000. This lack of transparency is problematic. The sales staff cannot be blamed, as they rely on the information provided by the management and agents. Furthermore, customers book their cars under the impression that GreenMotion has a counter at the airport. In reality, there are only two drivers handling pick-ups and drop-offs, which often results in delays. We had to wait for some time for our car. While the car itself was satisfactory, the lack of clear information, management interference, and insufficient staff are concerning issues. We witnessed several customers expressing frustration to the sales staff for similar reasons. It is imperative that the company streamlines its operations and communication to enhance customer experience.

Green Motion provided the worst car rental experience I ve ever had. They promised a Hyundai but gave me an old, inferior Suzuki Ciaz. The rental office wasn t even at the airport as advertised, and I had to hunt for over an hour just to find them. To top it off, they charged an outrageous deposit of 820 USD, held for an unreasonable 20 days. Avoid this company at all costs. Trust me, it s not worth the hassle and disappointment.

I booked the car but when I arrived to pick-up the car they did not want to accept my online credit card or physical debit card for deposit (I was later in 4 other rental companies and they all accepted debit card for deposit). Avoid this company and rather use different one.

BETRÜGER VORSICHT !!! Bloß nicht buchen. Ich wurde geblitzt und habe eine Strafe von 4830 Dirham erhalten. Nachdem ich bei der örtlichen Straßenverkehrsbehörde war wurde die Strafe auf 500 Dirham gesenkt. Die 500 Dirham habe ich vor Ort bezahlt und mir eine Quittun geben lassen. Nach einer Woche wurden von meiner Kreditkarte trotzdem die 4830 Dirham abgebucht (1230 ). Jetzt renne ich meinem Geld hinterher.

This is a total scam company, they canceled my reservation and promised me a refund. But after I left Dubai they changed their story and said refunds were not possible. The attitude was very bad and the staff did not receive the proper training.

I called them from the airport, and they came to pick me up in 30 minutes. Then they took me to this hotel where they have a stall. Its my 20th time in Dubai renting a car using my credit card, but here, a young Indian girl at the counter said that the card I gave her is not a credit card . I was astonished. Im a bank employee, and I know the differences between debit and credit cards. I understand she doesnt want to proceed further because theres no one to oversee the scenario no manager, no supervisor, and she seems to be the big boss. I insisted for her to check and assure that this is a credit card, but she kept saying its not. I dont understand why she did this. Managers really need to monitor their employees actions here. I paid for my car rental and went through all the information on my voucher and brought all the required documents, yet Im not being served. Zero-level customer service.

Great Service. Convenient since open 24h/7 (in a hotel lobby). Outside the airport (10min) which allow them to be very competitive on price(free shuttle available). Check-in could have been faster but all was ok including check-out. Car was ok for the price

I wasnt reassured when I took my rental seeing the reviews but everything went very well. I was well received at the Al Rais agency, they took the time to answer all my questions and reassure my concerns, particularly regarding the return of the deposit. I made my rental a month ago now and nothing was taken from my deposit, everything went really well there are a lot of radars and cameras in Dubai a fine arrived very quickly you have to have impeccable driving!!

At first when he checked the car he pointed about 7 scratches and then I checked it myself I saw some more scratches on the car and that adds up to 12 scratches. And then when we returned the car he showed us a scratch that could never be us not in any universe that could be our fault since we have no accidents or whatsoever. Completely ripped off.

Since I ordered a car through emirates at Gren Emotion. I thought that everything would be fine, but I was wrong... I also paid the full civered insurance with Axa. there would be nothing wrong with that. If we dont want to send a report about why the car was damaged, they just took 700AED money from the account. Without notification, I had to beg them to send the invoice that they sent, but unfortunately its not enough for the insurance ... Bad communication... Kilometers were supposed to be unlimited and it wasnt. And the car was damaged because there was a storm in Dubai and the whole city was under water, so it wasnt our fault, but the money was taken from the account... I recommend it to anyone who he wants to buy a car from them!! Youd better take the car right from the airport, there are a lot of them.....But I hope that a manager will call me and we can discuss it because I wrote to London and there was no response...Pavel

Would give 0 stars if I could. Booked through Zest. It was the worst experience I have ever had. We travelled out of the UK at 5am, caught 2 flights and were dealing with the provider at around 1am, landing at around 11:30pm and getting picked up by the provider (green motion) at around 12:30, an hour late. Ultimately, I left car-less and incurred a taxi fee to the hotel. The experience did not meet the expectations set by the email sent by Zest or any good customer service experience. Firstly, I pre-booked the car for ease not knowing this would be used against me by the provider (green motion). I was not given the car and was told to come back the next day with a credit card, not an Amex, which is all I had on me. (Coming back to the office of green motion from the hotel would have taken around 40 mins). I am not sure why false and contradictory information was provided to us by the provider, namely, informing me that the card policy happened to change 24hours prior and that they no longer accept Amex and they said they emailed the broker to confirm this. Clearly, this was a lie as zest later informed me that the policy never changed. When I asked if I was going to be compensated for the lost day, they said no and there was nothing they could do because I pre-booked. Not sure how this makes sense? Good customer service would have offered some compensation. Secondly, the email sent out by Zest, the voucher email confirmtion to be specific, states that a representative will meet the customer at the airport as per the flight details provided to Zest and any delayed flights will be accounted for as per the flight details provided. This was not the case for us as our flight was delayed but the representative came to us an hour later, after we had landed. We called the provider after a kind employee of spinneys market phoned them for us given our phones were out of battery. Had the provider had our flight details, they could have collected us at the correct time. The representative later confirmed they had no details of our flight and even showed us the paperwork provided to them by which showed only basic details like my name, and the car model (which was also completely wrong). I paid for a Hyundai Elantra, as per zest s website and as per the voucher confirmation emailed. The representative s paperwork showed a Kia. The car we got collected in was not a Kia nor a Hyundai Elantra and we were told it would be the car we would take away and they had nothing else when I said it wasn t the car I paid for. I am in awe as to how I paid for a specific car and wasn t even going to receive the actual car I paid for. I didn t care if it was an upgrade , as the representative stated to me, as I paid for a car that had modern interior and comfortability, which is what I should have received. When we were collected by the representative (an hour late), he happened to speak a language I am fluent in, making conversation easier and more understandable. They informed me that we should not pay for a SATNAV given the roads have changed in Dubai and the satnavs are very very old. Essentially, they were warning me not to waste extra money on a satnav that would have been useless for us. I appreciated this but i was relying on a satnav given I was going to do a lot of driving in and around Dubai for leisure and business. I was later left with no choice but to top up my phone with a huge amount of data as I ended up renting another car with another company extremely last minute without a nav. I had limited options. I absolutely urge zest to reconsider their relationship with Green Motion, Dubai branch. Horrible horrible customer service all round. The managers at green motion seriously need to look into the way they re running their business. Awful. After a few phone calls and chasing up, Zest did give me a full refund in the end. It was the least they could do in my opinion.

I rent a car with them on Aug16 with request pick up from the airport at 9:30pm I end up getting my car at 11:42pm. there 2 people in the shift but only 1 is doing all the work. please fired the guy behind the counter who done nothing and let me wait for me car for 2 hrs. I start complain to him about the wait time and he instant reply that it was my fault for not follow the other guy out when hes go to check the other customer car ++ when he and I both know the key to my car and contract is on his table. what a hypocrite !!!!!!

I felt compelled to put in a few good words for the team here after my positive experience. Most car rental companies in every corner of the globe tend to have poor ratings because it is just in the nature of human beings to write reviews only when something goes wrong, but when everything happens smoothly most people simply take it as an entitlement. Same case for airline ratings really. Rented a compact-class sedan over the year-end holidays in 2022, and upon arriving at the terminal in DXB I made the phone call as instructed. The representative arrived in about 15-20mins or so to pick me up and head over to Movenpick Al-Bustan where the rental company was located. Even though I didn t have the luck to get a free upgrade (again, it was peak holiday season), they were really nice to provide a Hyundai Accent which was less than a year old with barely 20k km on the odometer. Photo attached is of the actual car. Went through the usual checks, took videos of every corner of the exterior and interior, marked out all nicks and scratches, and before long I was driving the humble sedan down the massive Arabian freeway. I took it for about 660km in the span of 48 hours, to Jebel Jais, to Al-Qudra, and all around town, and had absolutely no issues with the car. When it came to returning the vehicle, the process was just as seamless and smooth. The checks were done in 10-15 minutes, the company did not nickel and dime me for apparent damages for there were none. Toll fees were calculated on-the-spot and in real-time, and most importantly, I got the deposit refunded IN FULL back to my credit card in 7 working days. The usual common-sense stuff to note whenever renting a vehicle still applies, of course - Always purchase full insurance and always do so directly through the company and never through a third-party or agent, i.e. the booking can be made through a third-party/agent (eg kayak/discovercars/etc) BUT never buy the insurance through them, take plenty of photos and videos of both the interior and exterior of the car upon collection, and always check the credit card authorisation amounts and refund time. Unfortunately I don t remember the names of the guys that helped me, as it s already been a few months but I remember they were mostly Pakistani, god bless them.
