Terrible Service I had an incredibly frustrating experience with eZhire. After returning the car, I was hit with an excessive charge for extra kilometers, which was never properly explained upfront. My booking was made through eZhire and the car was given by Thrifty. So my last point of contact of course will be Thrifty. The Thrifty guys told me that i have unlimited KM for one day. Even when i returned the car, they were ok with the KM. But now this eZhire wants me to pay extra money for extra KM even when the car doesnt belong to them. I could have directly booked the car for 77 AED per day from Thrifty, but i used eZhire as there was a promotion going on FREEDAY. But in my case nothing was free. Also i had to pay an amount more than normal booking charge. What made things worse was the lack of transparency and unhelpful customer service. When I reached out to clarify the charges, I was given the runaround, with no clear breakdown or justification for the ridiculous excess fees. I ve rented from various companies before, but this is by far the worst experience. If you value transparency and want to avoid unfair hidden costs, avoid eZhire at all costs!

Unfortunately, I faced several challenges that I believe warrant your attention: 1. Delayed delivery: The car was delivered over 2 hours late, which caused significant inconvenience in my travel plans. 2. Hidden information: I was surprised to find several fees were not disclosed during the booking process. This lack of transparency affected my budgeting. 3. Late instructions: The instructions for the vehicle return were sent to me only exactly right before the service was about to end, making it difficult to comply with the return process in a timely manner which resulted on an extention of an extra day that I didnt require. I believe that addressing these issues could greatly enhance the experience for future customers. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback.

If only I can leave a review without giving a star. 1. Pick up - I booked a vehicle at 3pm to pick for 6PM. The support I am chatting with told me that I can pick it up at their warehouse at 5:30 PM. I arrived in time and just to be informed that my booking wasn t approved due to system error. They already took the payment of my card and I had to wait for almost 2 hours without anyone communicating with me with updates. I was already there in their office in Al Qouz but I had to call their support line to get updates. 2. After a day of renting. They charged me 100 for missing wheel cap when I sent them a video of the car in their WH before I and my husband took the car from there, the missing cap was never there. I called support 5 times and nobody bothered to message me and they wouldnt refund my money. Their customer support is arrogant and full of lies. This is the worst rental car service in the UAE. Taking money from customers and giving them a stressful experience. I will not recommend. I am sure no one from their comapany will bother to reach out to me after this review. They dont have accountability.

Don t try to add your card details, the company telling one price then later they deducting extra fees from your card, very bad service, always delayed cars and dirty , DONT ADDD UR CARD DETAILS !!!!!!! Stealing money for nothing after 4 months! They deducted 940 AED for Salik which car was used only 1 month , before that they deducted twice for salik around 300 AED, still they keep deducting my card moneys , I try to block card or freeze, but still they using my cards for nothing, I paid for Picanto 5,600 in 40 days, guys don t advise this company, careful!!!!!! THE WORST CAR RENTAL IN DUBAI!!! Awful customer service!!!!! Positioning themselves as easy hire was the horrible customer journey and nothing easy about that !!! I rented a car from jbr branch. First of all, to ask customer support a question - I had to write in in 4 different chats with no respond!! Instead they call you without even asking if s convenient time for a call!! Then they say jbr branch is not operational. Okay. They say to return the car afterwards in the nearest location - which is JLT. On the return date - I send a WhatsApp message to make sure jlt branch is operational, as it s a traffic time and I can t drive there blindly. 4 hours, 5 messages in WhatsApp - no reply!! I reach home and call customer support - -15 minutes of my time !! Gabriel said he organized the car collection for me and someone will contact me. Guess what: of course no one contacts me. 45 min after I call them again,- as if I have so much free time to just hang out with them on the line!!! And they say there is no collection request (meaning Gabriel didn t do anything !!!! And I waited 45 more minutes!!!!!) and it s now not enough time if I want to arrange the collection !!!! Are you for real ?????? Call yourself stressful and awful hire as there is nothing about easy with you !!!! Horrible horrible horrible !!!!

We booked a car on 4th Oct for usage on 5th Oct. On 5th we go to pick the car from their centre at 11 am. There is no car assigned. After a short conversation with the Ezhire for assigning car to us, we waited at the centre for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes of no action from Ezhire, we called Ezhire and places request for cancellation of the booking. After all this, Ezhire went ahead charged my card for it, did not cancel the booking from their end and on top of it they extended the hours for this non-existent car and kept on charging me. My husband in on call as of now with Ezhire to get this sorted and still they are charging the amount for a non-existent car. Highly unprofessional people on calls. Once the call is completed, I will upload all the screenshot of the app with the booking details and charges made to my card. Edit: This is second post on 09.10.2024. We are still waiting on our refund. Stay away from ezhire.com . They like to play with customers card details. We are moving ahead to register a complaint. We dont have time to waste on their unprofessional ways on conducting business Simply wasted our time on call with the arrogant customer service people of Ezhire. No refund of our own money and no compensation of 75 AED in the wallet yet.

I had a rental transaction with Ezhire back in March 2024, and everything seemed fine at the time. However, I recently noticed an unexpected charge on my card from them. When I reached out for clarification, I was given a series of different reasons with no clear explanation as to why or how my card was used. At one point, they even suggested that someone else might be using my card, which felt like a deflection rather than taking responsibility. This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels like a scam. I would not trust them with my payment information again.

(Update based on response: the booking change was made in March, but the App reflects AED1,616.13 due. No notification of the additional charges has been shared or confirmed at all. Months later... the day before billing, the amount changes!) Nothing eZ about it! While the booking experience on the App is simple, everything else has been nothing but endless hassles I ve had a long term rental from early January 2024, and it is ending at the end of October 2024. The first car delivered was a disaster - it smelled like an ashtray, and was covered in cigarette burns from the seats to the dashboard. I was very unhappy and requested a replacement - which was swiftly handled. But I was annoyed that they would send a customer who is going to be with them for 10-months an awful vehicle like this to start with. In April I left the country on a 3-week vacation and so returned the vehicle I had, which was also a seamless process. When I returned I got a new vehicle - and apart from it having a smashed side mirror, and no backing board for the boot which I enquired about and no one ever contacted me back - I was happy with this vehicle and drove it for many months. But the vehicle was approaching its 40,000km service around the beginning of September. I contacted eZhire well ahead of time to inform them that the service was going to be due soon. They assured me the relevant team would contact me. For the next month - I contacted them 4-5 additional times as no one had ever contacted me from the relevant team! And every time I had to take new photos and essentially start the whole process over again! Every time! That is until last week Friday evening around 18:30, when out of the blue I got a phone call saying - we re coming in 40 minutes to get the car and give you a replacement. With no regard for my time or my plans eZhire had now decided that after a month of no feedback - they were coming NOW! Instead of complaining I changed my plans to make myself available, just to get this whole ordeal over with. And what did I get a car that smells, has had tint poorly scrapped off most of the windows except some of back passenger windows, and again has multiple points of interior & exterior damage. So after 24-hours of driving another hunk of eZhire junk, I come to my senses and remember that I m paying for this service! This isn t my friend loaning me their car out of the goodness of their heart - I am a customer paying hard earned money for this rental and service! So I contact eZhire again to complain very politely about the poor quality of yet another of their vehicles, and to request a replacement. I even offer to pay more for a better, newer car to avoid any further issues. I was assured the relevant team would be in contact to solve my problem. But again - no word from the relevant team!!! And then today - the final straw that broke the customers back! I received a pre-billing email detailing that they will deduct AED 3,494.57 from my account. However, the final payment due for this horrific 10-month customer experience is only AED 1,616.13! I reached out to customer service again and was assured that on both issues - the replacement of the terrible replacement car, and the incorrect billing amount - the relevant teams would contact me. After spending around AED 26,000.00 on one this whole booking alone - and having had previous long term bookings with eZhire - this is definitely not what customer service, value for money or quality product offerings look like! The amount of time I have spent managing eZhire is ridiculous, and the level of delivery has been shockingly poor. While they have the friendliest support staff - it means nothing if they can t deliver or meet very basic customer needs. I am literally counting down the days to the end of this nightmare booking, and eZhire can rest assured this is the last of my business they will ever see! My recommendation to you - find another company to deal with because as I said in the beginning, there has been nothing eZ about this 10-month customer failure saga!

Be carful! Scamming company . I did one booking for exact car brand Skoda at exact delivery time, but I did not receive the car after 2 hours of mentioned delivery time through app and I didn t receive any notification about that delaying, after I contacted them they informed me we will sent you another car cuz that brand is not available right now and you should wait for another half an hour at the same time they are listed that brand Skoda in their app , but I refused and i cancel my booking and I requested for refund at the same time by force . Ezhire main moto is how to make money only they will never respect and care the customers , I took the car from them couple of time , on 7th September I booked for Sunny however I got an Attrage the car I got after waiting almost 1 hour and the condition was very very bad the same time I informed the customer service they advice me that the booking is for 1 day and they cant replace it and they said If the car condition is bad you should reject the car in the same time,am getting the car after an hour and I do have a plan so I dont had a choice on that time. Next time when I took a Sunny on that time my children spill over drinking water on the seat for that they chrged my cars AED 225, after had an argument with the management they given AED 50 on my wallet, same time I informed them they can take it back. One time they charge my card for someone else salik after complaining they reverse that. They will charge the card as they want. The worst company in UAE for renting . Never deal with them . Non experienced staff . And very bad work. Late delivery I was late for important meeting. Bad car . Tank was not opening in Petrol station. I called and they told its fine . How come ?? They took money from card even if you remove it from application. And for example they brought me the car with half tank . I gave back with the same tank . Half Then they charge me 43 aed for fuel !!!! How come ? Be attentive guys with this company. Poor Service and Lack of Professionalism I recently booked a car from this compan , and the experience was very disappointing. First, the car they provided was completely different from the one I had reserved, which was frustrating. On top of that, no one from the company apologized or even acknowledged the mistake when I brought it up. To make matters worse, the driver had very little knowledge of the area, which led to unnecessary delays. I expected better service, especially considering the reputation of this company. I hope they improve their customer service, ensure the right vehicles are provided, and make sure their drivers are more knowledgeable. This experience was far from what I anticipated, and I won t be using their service again.

Unnecessary charges, everytime you book you will have some issues with car. Not updated car all old cars. For any help you have to wait 30 mins to get assisted and if you ask for replacement due to fault they come and ask what is the issue with car they fix that thing and no replacement. Be careful when hiring from eZhire. My wife has recently hired a car and pointed out defects which were not recorded by the agent who dropped the car. When it came to collecting the car they have tried to insinuate that the previous damage had been caused by my wife who had made 1 trip with the car. Some of the insinuated damage refers to the back seat of the car which had not been used during the hire. Be careful when hiring from this company. 24/09/2024 at 1.28PM Update following EZ Hires response: Since we cannot reply to a misleading brand reply on Google, here s my response to your response. On the checkout screen, the amount that is displayed is already paid for while doing the transaction. Nothing excuses the fact that you would withdraw an additional amount, without prior notice, from my card, after returning the car. Noting that there wasn t a single instance when there was an outstanding balance on my account while my reservation was active. ---- Original review: Avoid at all costs! I rented a car from this company and thought everything was smooth until after I returned the vehicle to the airport. Days later, I discovered a 50 AED charge on my card with absolutely no prior notice. This fee wasn t communicated anywhere during the booking process neither on the app nor on the checkout screen. It s shocking that they think it s acceptable to charge customers without warning or explanation! Had I known about their shady practices, I would have stayed far away from them. Now that I ve gone through the reviews, I see I m not the only one. It seems like a common theme here charging customers out of the blue without prior notice. Terrible Experience Harassment from Staff I ve had a shocking experience with eZhire. After renting a car, I was bombarded with over 100 aggressive messages from their representative, despite arranging payment. Even after complaining to management and receiving an apology, the same harassment continued just days later. I am extremely disappointed with the service. I arranged for my car to be collected since I can t meet them on the return date. They confirmed on September 17th that the pickup would be on September 19th at 8:30 PM in Satwa. Now, its 10:50 PM, and the driver just called to say he is in Dubai Industrial City for the collection. Their system updates are lacking, and they manage customers poorly, causing unnecessary stress. I wouldn t recommend this service to friends or family. Very disappointing.

DO NOT AUTHORIZE A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM THEY ARE GOOD BUT BE CAREFUL I rented a car from Ezhire and requested a baby car seat which they provided. I gave them 3 stars because their service started out OK but then it just declined. The process of renting the car was fairly easy and quick, whether through their mobile app or through their whatsapp they were quick to respond. The first car they brought me although fits the description and included the requested car seat, it reeked of smoke and cigarettes! As soon as I informed them in less than 3 hours I had a replacement car which was good, the car model was not great but that was on me, first time trying JAC Chinese car brand, nontheless the car was fine, safe and fairly easy to drive. During the renting period I received messages from QuickHire , the company Ezhire uses to bring the cars, the message said there are several traffic tickets totaling approx 700AED, I asked for the details of the traffic tickets, no reply. I checked on the mobile app, the app displayed a series of fines all on the same day and all within mere minutes of each other! None of them during the time I actually had the car! So i reached out to them via whatsapp, their agent , a lovely lady was very quick to action and said that the tickets showing on the app are a technical error, and sure enough they were gone. The last week of rental went by smoothly, and they even came to pick up the car as agreed and everything was finished quickly. Fast forward to 2 weeks AFTER returning the car and signing the finalizing papers. I receive an email that they discovered that I have exceeded the km limit and will charge 93 AED for the difference, I agreed and asked for a method of payment to which their reply was, it will be automatic, in other words they withdrew the money from my credit card. A credit card they insist on having to rent the car in the first place. Naturally this freaked me out but I naively thought fine 93 AED no problem. One week later I receive another email, this time no invoice just a reminder that the payment is due in 2 days, I contact them and they reply saying there are fine tickets. Mind you I had checked the license plate with RTA and know for a fact not a single ticket is fined on this car during my rental time. I asked them for details of the ticket and an invoice (via email), they did not reply. I called and asked them to ensure not withdrawing any amount before I receive and confirm the invoice, they said they wont (phone conversation with their agent, different agent than the nice lady), but then I receive another email reminder. Fearing another automatic withdrawal on my credit card I had to block it. Until today , this was 3 weeks ago, I have not received an invoice. Their agent said that they have the right to withdraw any pending payments, ticket fines, ...etc upto 90 days after returning the car, which is just ridiculous! Imagine returning the rented car perfectly fine but staying on alert for 90 days that they could just decide to withdraw any amount from your credit card as they please. For those who are not from UAE, ticket & fines are alerted to the car owner instantly, so there is no need to hold any credit card or amount after returning a rented car. I definitely learned my lesson, and my advice if you are renting from them, is to only do it via cash payment, do not give them any credit card info. Do expect a lot of delays in communication unless you are lucky enough to reach the lovely lady i spoke to, her name is Fathima and if there was ever a hope for me to do business with Ezhire again it would be because of her. She really did everything possible to resolve any issues, and I will never forget how fast she took action to replace that first car and even was the one who facilitated me extending my contract when I needed to last minute.

They do not deserve the one star. This is the worst company in the whole world. Once the car is returned, they will keep taking money from your bank accounts. I used different cards for only one booking with them, they kept all the records and they are taking money from my account almost everyday. They changed my booking to one day less a few days the car was returned(on time-hours earlier) and then they charged me an extra day. They charge a lot a lot. Believe all the comments you can see here and do not be scammed by the price. I changed all my cards and paid for that. They charged much more the rental price after the rental. DO NOT USE THEM

It has always been a good experience with EZHIRE. Until few weeks back where I got a deduction in my account pertaining to a traffic fine (after almost 2 wks they charge me). When I ask for the supporting details of that fine, they keep on stalling and just gave me a screenshot after constant follow ups (where nowhere it says from the authority, how would you expect that it is official?). Bottom line, this company easily just takes money from you like they don t care and by the time you question it takes forever for them to come back (even with constant follow up). They will reply with scripted lines, like youre talking to a robot.

I have been unable to get an invoice from support for a week. A scooter crashed into my car while I was waiting at a traffic light. The police were called, and a case was opened. To close this case, I need to provide the police with an invoice. eZhire charged me, but they haven t been able to send me the invoice for a week. Every day I call them and try to get it, but they just say, We will send it to you today. But every time, nothing happens. I want to finally close the case with the police.

Worst company. I booked movie for 7pm show and booked the car for 5:30pm delivery. Don t even think of taking car from them, they don t deliver car on-time, and customer service doesn t tell you car is coming or not.Untill 5:40pm no sight of car even after the car and driver is assigned when I checked in the app. my whole family got ready and waiting for the car. When I called them they said car is not assigned. And said they will call in 5 minutes, until 7:19pm no body called by the time I had to cancel the movie . Next day they called and asking sir you need the car. I had no words to describe how they are unprofessional and not having any idea of doing service. This company is a scam. They fool customers by alluring them with deals and later when the car is delivered, the problems start to appear, like a flat tyre. After multiple communications, to which they fail to reply they will send you a simple diplomatic email that nothing can be refunded and there was so fault at their end. I rented a car with eZhire for about 6 weeks because their rates were cheaper than competitors and they offered car drop off and pick up. In short: their pricing gets more than offset by the terrible customer experience. If you are looking to save money at the cost of losing hair, being on the phone multiple times, explaining the same problem to different people and not getting a solution, then getting cheated, they are the company you have been looking for. They were a disappointment for me from day 1. I was given a car with no fuel (which car company does that?) which was extremely stressful because I got stuck in bad traffic on the way to the closest gas station. I had to week the windows down during peak summer in Dubai to make sure I reach the station. The car they gave me was skipping so badly that I almost had a bad accident twice - once is stopped in a busy roundabout and a truck was about to crash into me. Please see below all details on customer experience. When I got the replacement car, I told them that I have half a fuel tank on the first car because I had intended to drive it in the first place so they need to give me the replacement car with half a fuel tank but I will return it empty like I got my first car. They agreed but when I returned the car they charged me, with a premium, for low fuel. I complained again but to no avail. Details on their crappy customer service: When I complained about the fuel issue, the broken car issue and then the wrong charge on the return fuel, I quickly realized how terrible their customer service is. They have offshore agents who respond to calls and messages pretty quickly but have they have zero empowerment of making any decisions. So they will hear your complaint, apologize, quickly draw conclusions so that they hush you and, if you push, then say that they will raise the complaint with their manager. If you push harder, you can speak to the manager, also offshore, also not able to make decisions but will lodge a request with management - these are people who are based on Dubai and can help you in the first place but they add their bureaucracy in the complaint system to drain you out, they usually get back to you the next day after you have called the call centre 5-6 times and increased your stress levels. And did I mention that every call to the agent starts like ground hog day (there is zero history of your complaint) so you really need to try your your best to move things forward to management. If you want to enjoy your vacation or while you are settling down in Dubai or for whatever reason you are renting a car, DONT HIRE FROM THEM if you respect your time and mental health!!!

The sales team called me 3 times to convince me to rent from their company after downloading their application without booking a car, After the calls they sent me an email with 500AED off for my first rent and thats what made me use their service. 2. I talked to the sales team and selected a certain car model and when the booking day came I got a different car so I refused to take it until they got me the model I wanted and this made a delay for around 4 hours. 3. If you got any fine, the will charge you for getting a fine. 4. The customer service guy was very rude and impolite. 5. They dont have any person who speaks Arabic. 7. They save the credit card details and withdraw money without your permission, saying you agreed on this in our terms and conditions. 8. I wanted to return the car before 7 days without getting any money back because Im traveling but they said you should pay 1000AED more for early return. 9. after returning the car they withdrawn 75AED to fill the car with petrol and 75AED as a service charge on that.

I had seen this company recommended on many forums but unfortunately I have had a bad experience with ezhire. There was a deposit taken when booking. This should have been a pre authorised holding amount but the representative actually charged it to my card and the amount was deducted from my bank account. Tried to call and message several times to explain the issue and try to get a refund on the amount but have had no success. The people I have spoken to on the phone dont understand the issue and its like going round and round in circles. I am now exploring legal options as their customer service do not seem to be able to resolve their error.
