Its the best car rental company from UAE, me and my family we are always renting from them, quality price is ok, and they help you for pick up or drop off in airport from abu dhabi dubai or others, there is some charges like 50-150 drh depending where and also some small taxes or Salik that need to be paid, but again for me they are clear, safe, they have word they help you via whatsapp they are easy to contact. I had booked a car with Drivus through VIP cars and the service was brilliant. From the moment I walked in, very friendly. The paper was completed quickly and I went out to take the car. All existing damage was shown to me before hand and made a video myself for assurance. At the end of my rental, they offered to pick up the car from my location, however I decided to drive back to the office as I was nearby. When I dropped the car off, the process was quick. I was told the deposit I put down will be returned to me in 21 days minus the tolls fees.

Booked car rental with drivus and upon arrival at dubai Airport we had a message off the company telling us where to go, we were met at the entrance to the airport and taken to our car which was brand new. When we dropped the car off we were given a time and place to meet the drivus driver who was there when we arrived. An EXCELLENT service and would highly recommend.

Company service level is high. They can offer you different ways to pay for the rental and for the deposit as well, it is important if by some reasons you don t have a credit card. This is the first time I have rented a car with DRIVUS Dubai for 27 days and it s been an absolute pleasant experience. The car was a sporty look new model JAC j7 with almost all the advance features anyone can wish for. The pickup was very smooth with all the paper work done quickly. I didnt have a good experience unfortunately with Drivus in Dubai. I rented for 13 days in August 2024. First car (Jag) was defective. Drivus took 3 days to replace it after promising they will change it the following day. This ruined my plans as I had to wait around in hotel for the person coming to collect. Eventually I swapped with them in Sharjah which was closer to Drivus office. As they operate only 8am to 11pm, I had to pay an additional 250Dirham for out of hour collection from airport as my flight was at 9.20am. I was not made aware of this when I booked. I offered to have it collected during office hours a day early from my hotel but was told thats an addional 100 dirham for change of location, even though it was in Dubai and 20 mins from their office. Again, if I knew all this in advance I would had not booked with Drivus in first place. They have no office at the airport so hard to communicate with Drivus. They dont answer the calls so had to only message on WhatsApp. Both Cars came with 1/4 tank fuel. I was told when booking it will be full and I return full, which makes sense. I find it very crafty giving 1/4 tank as it is very difficult to return the car at that level, so they will most probably get more fuel from customers, just like when I did when I returned the defective first car. Then if customers return less than that then Drivus charge a fee, but if they return more, they dont offer refund. They add an addional fee for Salik (like congestion charge in London) when the cars are already registered. They have poorly maintained cars. I am judging by the 2 cars I got. Not sure what the rest of theit fleet is like. I had 2 cars and both were not great. Damages around the cars, so I have to be observant to ensure I note the damages when collecting otherwise I would be blamed and charged for it. Very crafty again by Drivus. Overall not a great service and experience so will definetly not be using Drivus again and will advise all my friends and family. I have rented cars from many companies in Dubai, roughly 12 times, but this has to be the worst service and experience I had!

I had a very disappointing experience with DRIVUS Car Rental The car I received had an empty fuel tank and a strong smell of smoke, which was very uncomfortable as a non-smoker. After extending the rental period, the car suddenly stopped without any warning, and I was informed that this was due to a delay in payment, but I had received no prior notice. The billing process was clear and unprofessional, with several discrepancies in the charges applied to my credit card, including incorrect Salik charges. Despite making payments via bank transfer, I was still billed through my credit card. Additionally, the customer service was extremely rude and unprofessional. The representative handling my case insulted me and used inappropriate language when discussing these issues. This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. I advise others to be cautious when dealing with DRIVUS Car Rental. My experience was a nightmare, and I hope my review helps others avoid similar issues. I would like to offer my feedback regarding my recent experience with your service, which was unfortunately disappointing. First, I received the car with an empty fuel tank and visible smoking inside, which is unacceptable to me as a non-smoking user. After extending the rental period, the car suddenly stopped without prior notice or explanation. I was later told that it was because I was late in paying, but that did not justify taking action without informing me in advance. In addition, the treatment with me was rude and unprofessional. Secondly, I noticed several amounts being debited from my credit card without explanation. More than 1,600 dirhams were withdrawn, with a deduction of 100 dirhams as a deposit upon each renewal, and a Salik fee of 6 dirhams was imposed instead of the usual 4 dirhams. The invoices I received showed the amounts being withdrawn from my credit card, while I was paying by transferring the amounts to the company s account, which reflects a lack of seriousness in dealing. I would also like to point out that the person responsible for this case, who was of Iraqi nationality, said the worst words to me and showed a lack of respect or appreciation. This behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects a complete lack of professional principles. I request you to resolve this issue urgently. If the issue is not resolved quickly, I will be forced to file a legal complaint regarding this experience. I hope you will improve the way you deal with customers and provide better service in the future. Thank you all.

uncommon charges they dont tell you about .they dont explain any special terms or conditions although Ive asked if there were any. Upon returning the car i discovered there was a special term they don t inform you in advance of 600 dirham if car is not cleaned from the inside when you return it. Make sure to take pictures of the interior prior- so make sure to take some so they dont accuse you of any damage that was there before. Furthermore, be aware they take down the security deposit as payment(which they dont tell you advance) instead of holding deposit which you end up paying interest fees for the duration of the rental. They will only the return the deposit for further one more month after returning the car instead of refunding it when you return the car. The customer experience is unpleasant.

I contacted several rental organizations whose services I had previously used in other countries, but either they did not accept my cards or the price was not entirely adequate. One company turned out to have my credit card as a debit card... My order for renting a car through Localrent was urgent, I chose a car like the Hyundai Elantra, and after 3 hours an almost new Citroen C4 was driven to the hotel in Dubai Marina, I think it s no worse. Payment and deposit with UnionPay. The deposit was unblocked after 5 days. There are few car pick-up points and quite far away. Delivery to the hotel is of course good, but it costs the same as 3 days of renting a car. Salik paid in cash when he returned the car. From my wishes, it would be nice if it were not necessary to fill the car with gasoline to the level it was, but simply take into account the difference in readings and pay extra. And it s not very convenient to look for a car wash before returning the car. Next time I will order a car from you in advance and have it delivered to the airport, so as not to have to travel by transfer on a bus, stopping at several hotels throughout Dubai, and back the same way! The worst rent a car company ever seen around the world. I arrived at Dubai airport after 16 hours flight from Los Angeles I had reservations They kept me waiting for around an hour to bring me a car. For return the car I had a flight early morning they said they don t have an office in airport and they want to charge me around 100$ for early morning return. Staff was kind and helpful it s not their fault

Albeit we never had the best experience Ive given 5* as they were very accommodating. They picked us up from the airport. The price was good for our 7 seat car but when we got to the office, 20 min drive, no 7 seater was ready. Luckily they had an older one, not the best but ok. We helped them remove 20 car seats out of it! Returning it a week later we got a lift back to the airport. Would I use them again..? Yes. Id just double check the right car was waiting for us. They had lots of new regular cars.

Clean and good cars, the service was excellent. I received the car on time at Dubai airport and when I returned it, it was picked up directly from the hotel. We rented a jac with the service without a deposit, because there was no foreign card, only Russian ones. We paid in cash. There are no questions about the car or the company, everything was great. There was a difficulty in paying the fine, so in the end we paid through a link from the Drivus company with their commission, and gave another part to an intermediary who had a European card. In total, we paid two commissions. This is of course a lot, but the issue is being resolved, there was a payment option, I m glad that in 10 days there was only one fine on the first day. Only residents can pay directly on the police website. The car was booked through localrent. In general, the Drivus company seemed decent. The car was dropped off at the airport, I wrote to just leave the car in the parking lot, put the keys and parking ticket inside. A little unexpected, but no problems arose. Everything is quite convenient!

Contacted the call centre as soon as we arrived and one of their representatives called me and we did all the paperwork. The car was what we exactly asked (7 seater). Drop-off process was smooth too. We rented an MG crossover car at the beginning of May 2024, delivered it to a hotel in Palma, and also after renting it, handed it over to a rental company employee at the hotel. The car is in good condition, there were no critical defects, during the transfer everything was recorded on video photos, noted in the report, the car is equipped with carplay, it s convenient to turn on the navigator on a large multimedia screen, I used the Yandex service, at large junctions I got confused a couple of times, but not too much, that s all The roads are made in such a way that even if you lose your route, you can quickly switch to a new route without wasting much time. We visited the Miracle Garden, Dubai Mall (parking is a motorist s dream, there are signs for free spaces everywhere and then the app on your phone gives you the route to the car from anywhere in the Mall). We went to a flamingo reserve, visited a golden frame, a mosque in Abu Dhabi and the Louvre. The roads are excellent, if possible, you should definitely take a car to save precious time on vacation)

The pick-up and drop-off process at the airport is terrible. You need to communicate via WhatsApp (a problem if you dont have internet data in the UAE) with several drivers who speak broken English. It is stressful and cumbersome. Other than that, everything else is fine.

We booked a car for our Dubai Trip on December 15, 2023 (8 days before our arrival) . But when we reached the airport, our booked car was not there and instead, he offered a small one - Creta which was not suitable for 6 family members. Insisting on the same car we booked, the agent - said either take it or leave the deal. It was the first sign of Unprofessionalism. We replied that - in such a case, kindly reduce the price as it is a small one. Again he said - take it or leave. Attitude!!! As we had no option at that time, and it was already around 2 hours at the airport with children, we went to the car park and explained the same thing to another agent of DriveUs and he agreed to replace it with a big car but insisted you must buy insurance. We took another big car and bought insurance. All went well in Dubai on our trip, but the story took a U-turn when we left Dubai and asked them to refund our advance. Indeed, the blocked amount was released, but they deducted a certain amount - without any reason, as we gave them a clean car inside/ outside without any scratch ( I have the video still). And till date, we are requesting to refund the amount but they are simply not refunding. (I have their CONSENT Whatsapp chat where they agreed to payback the amount) given that I have a local account in UAE only- not International. I provided details of my cousin, but even after four months, they have not refunded me. 15 MAY 2024 POST THIS REVIEW - I AM EXTREMELY THANKFUL TO (MS. SHEILA from Accounts Department) AS SHE RESOLVED THE ISSUE ON THE SAME DAY AND REFUNDED OUR LONG TIME PENDING REFUND. I AM THANKFUL FOR HER PROMPT RESPONE. APPRECIATION (15 May 2024)

I rented a car a few months ahead of my trip for a very good price. It was so good that I didnt believe and searched internet for comments to see if it is actually a real deal or I will have problems later. Unfortunately I saw a few negative comments, which made me worried. Even though that there was a free cancelation option I decided to give it a try. Fortunately, I had a very positive experience. Everything was sorted out perfectly. The car was clean and new. It was handed over to me on time and also picked up on time. I had booked a child seat, which was not provided, but they said I can pick it up from their office. I didnt have time to go there, so they refunded the child seat fee. I was 100% satisfied with their service and can strongly recommend Drivus in Dubai.

Awful car rental company - AVOID. The car was not ready for collection at the time specified however DRIVUS failed to make us aware of this. They promised it would be available later on in the day, it was not. Eventually they turned up the following day charging unfair fees. We cancelled and booked elsewhere and did not regret the decision! A terrible company with poor communication, save your money and time, do not book with them.

I have been to dubai 7 times. Used over 10 car rentals, but this one is by far the best. Good service. Amazing prices and fast responds. If you look for a good car for the best price. Drivus is for you. No other rental company gives u these prices and new cars. I rented a new hyundai creta for a whole month. Costed me only 600 bucks. Thats 20 bucks a day!!! Already renting for the third time.
