Very bad experience. I ordered One MG new 2025, they given me that 2023 accident vehicle even not fixed it. One month now. Their price was 1900 in site while I am paying rent for 2025 vehicle 2100/- Nobody wont respond while you call or send a message to them. Stuck my advance with them thats why I used this same more than one year. Now they are charging AED 300 for Insurance also.

The car was rented via AMEX Car, Dubai. Their branch location was Downton Dubai, Burj Khalifa Office. I had booked a Medium SUV, which was a Hyundai Santa Fe or similar. They degraded my booking, the vehicle provided to me was a MG ZS Automatic, a Compact SUV and not a medium SUV. Although it was a 2024 model, but the condition of the vehicle was simply horrible. 1. The pickup was very much delayed. I had called them well in advance and booked car delivery to hotel by paying 100 AED. But still, they delayed by over 30 mins the car delivery. 2. The engine was making just too much noise, and driving was very very difficult. The Service Now alarm was constantly beeping, which was extremely disgusting. The car had been driven around over 30,000 kms, and was probably never serviced since its purchase. 3. There were no tinted windows in the car at all. I have probably never seen any car in Dubai without tinted windows. Driving in the burning heat without tinted windows was a bummer and sheer discomfort. 4. On complaining to the AMEX Car Downtown Office about these issues, they simply refused to change the car or provide any compensation or any help at all. It is the worst Car Rental company in Dubai. 5. They inform me that refund of Security Deposit is only after 21 days, as per the rental contract. I have never heard of any car rental company in the entire world who takes more than 7-10 days for the refund of security deposit. I was constantly in touch with Alryan, and the AMEX Car team, but they have been very unhelpful. Horrible car, very bad customer service. Please do not book through AMEX Car Dubai. You will regret this decision.

Me and my girlfriend rented a car from this company. We returned the car on 16.09 and untill this day they didnt refund the deposit. Now they barely answer on WhatsApp, we sent them 2 mails and no answer regarding the refund . Dont work with this company they are scamers and wont give you back your deposit. I filled a complain at DED Consumer Protection Service yesterday and hopefully they will help us get our deposit back

I cant imagine how this company is working in the UAE!!! Worst customer service ever! I ordered a Kia car online. They send me MG car with check engine on and the gear has an issue. I requested from them 3 times to replace the car and they ignored me! They said ( we upgrade the car for free! ) SCAM! - They replace it after 2 weeks. Then after few days, they tell me I have to pay 195 AED for a fine in Abu Dhabi, I said ok, send me link to pay, then they told me to drive to Abu Dhabi police station and ask them about the payment link! They want me to drove 1.5 hours just to ask about payment link. Im totally fine in paying the fine but I need more info about the fine ! They dont tell you where and why. And they said if you dont pay it we will deduct from the deposit! Totaly Scam and unprofessional. They customer service guy called Shyam! If you see this name stay far. Terrible avoid this company ! I rented a Nissan X Terra and they told me it was a 2023 but it turned out it was much older, it was rusty, it looked like it had been driven through the dessert for a few years and it had stains on every seat. It also had a fake centre console that looked like it was an android bought from china as nothing worked - not even the radio the battery failed and I messaged them and they ignored me so the customer service is worse than their dilapidated cars. Tyre was even bald and out of tracking which I m sure is not roadworthy

After noticing charges on my card wen back and noticed that they have not returned deposit. Crazy experience ! I rent a car on their website, got my account deducted and never received any confirmation email. I try to talk to their customer support about the situation providing screenshots of my transaction and no one took care of it they all left me on read at some point telling me they didnt receive the reservation. (Well I still have been charged of it) So for those who want to use this company be very very aware they are other companies way better out there, at least dont pay at least you had someone, or wisely just run from them !

Bad experience with Amex. Old and smelly cars, yes it is for real, smelly cars. Company disorganized as hell. In addition, after 2 months I havent received the safe deposit. SCAM! Do not use this company . On the day I was supposed to get the car they arrived at nearly 8pm so I lost a whole day of my hire . They also arrived with a completely different car than the one I ordered , which was not to the same value as what I had paid for. And then they tried to pick up the car early on the day my hire ended which again would have shortened my rental by a further day. And to top it all off I have still not had my deposit returned after 2 months . No one is responding to my emails or what s app messages. I had no tickets and it was confirmed there was no damage to the car.

Car rental was fairly straight forward although the car was not thoroughly cleaned which was not a problem. Upon returning the car it was confirmed that everything was ok as regards to the fuel level and car condition but to this date one and half month later despite several messages they have not returned the deposit monies and I have had to raise a dispute case with the credit card company and will follow it up with my lawyer in Dubai. My messages are now just ignored. I wonder if this company understands the meaning of customer service. My advice to anyone wanting to hire from this company BEWARE your deposit may not be forthcoming.

The worst company i have ever dealt with! SCAMMERS I hired the car and immediately noticed that there was an issue with one of the tires - and a warning light. I immediately raised the issue and was ignored for several weeks. Eventually I spoke to an agent who told me that I should get it fixed myself and they would pay... So I did this and sent them the 180aed invoice. The comapany then refused to pay! They told me they would only pay 20aed. Completely the opposite of what was told to me at the time. Given I had spent weeks messaging them (unresponded to) and then this I was absolutely gobsmacked. I paid the 180 myself so the agent wasnt out of pocket himself. Am still awaiting security deposit and to be honest am not hopeful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

The most unprofessional company. The worst think about them is their customer service. I asked their agent ( his number was +971 52 905 5158) to schedule delivery for the car - I asked him if it has Bluetooth he said he would check and just disappeared on me, when I called him again he said he got busy and he will call me back in 20 minutes he never did. Then he said he will schedule the next day, I didn t hear back so i messaged him and now he s saying the car is no longer available. What a waste of my time! This isn t even the first time I have screenshots of their agents just leaving you on read when they don t feel like answering or scheduling a car. And the worst part they have some of the most Rude and sarcastic agents I ve ever come across, it s alarming really. If you ask them a question they will mock you or be extremely rude - I ve never seen this before. Amex Car rental really needs to take a look at who they employ.

Worst customer service ever. Provided me with unmaintained car which had check lamp lit on the dashboard initially and soon after the car broke. They told me to issue a police report on my own and pay the money for it. They also mentioned that car can not be broken by its own, its new. How can the car over 111,000km without proper maintainance be new? When I made a complain call, the guy was like, Keep on talking until you satisfy, we cant do anything Such a bad experience. SCAMMER ALERT!! Don t book with thieves! I rented a car in December 2023 and till date (11th April 2024) they never refunded my deposit of 400euros (1500AED). They asked me to wait for 21 days and after that I never got a reply from them. I raised a dispute with the CC provider though.
