We rented housing for 1.5 months. We chose the area that was the most interesting before us, City Walk. I wanted to live in the houses of this block, I really liked the architecture. I was left with a negative impression of the Blueground company itself. The apartments are in poor condition. Needs repairs. The furniture is very cheap. There is no comfort from the selected furniture. The apartment was half empty. The most disappointing thing was the quality. One of the rooms smelled of dog urine. There was no tulle in the bedroom. The Internet did not work in the entire apartment. They wrote an appeal. A week later they expected a fix. Wedge arrived to wash the mattress. Nothing helped. Then they spent 2 weeks sewing tulle. Every day they wrote something in response. We had no peace from constant letters, continuous daily correspondence. They answer one email once a day. The next week they changed the mattress and set up the Internet. Afterwards, the company wrote every week and reported that a new potential tenant would come to view the apartment. Under a short-term contract, the company has the right to invite anyone 3 weeks before departure, they inform you 24 hours in advance. There was no peace for them. After departure, the deposit must be returned within 15 days. 15 days passed, I had to write a letter why the deposit was not returned. Quite an unpleasant experience

The worst experience of Airbnb in Dubai toilet flush was useless. apartment was not proper clean when moved in.. the noise we suffered daily from kids playing in lobby was unbearable, we had to inform security daily until we had to go our self and complain.. we couldent even hear the tv.. honestly, its a poor maintained apartment which we had to pay that price for.. there is no proper daylight and we couldent even put our clothes anywere as so small cabinets. The host (Kornelia) was requesting to viewing the apartment for potential tenant. We had accepted twice but the viewings were cancelled by host very last minute which affected our comfort. Then again she sent request which we denied and mentioned to do viewing after the check out. Anyway she sent again same request. So unprofessional and very annoyed service from the host If you want to stay in nice and cool apartment highly don t recommend this company and especially this apartment in al ghozlan 1 very disappointed Also, after 1 week of our checked out they start to demand some money for some damages Looks like a scam because after we left the cleaning company came (by our c/out time) and we didn t get any complaints from them while a week

We have rented furnished apartments 3 times. 2 bad, 1 good. Without talking about the price of between 15,000 and 25,000 AED. We had problem with mold, bad small, no hot water, coffee machine not working, bad internet. They took 2 months to solve this. And this lovely video is from an apartment in JVC, at 15,000 dhs the rent. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

This is next level scam I rent and didnt check in for about 2 weeks and informed them I wont check in until later date, however they unlocked my door without locking it and extremely unprossional in response and lead to random people able to enter my apartment to do anything for free without lock for 2 whole full weeks and they still cannot lock it. Dont trust them. This place is a scam. They put up an ad for one price, but on the phone they say that the price is twice as expensive. Ive run into this twice already. They place an ad in the section monthly rent , and then say this price if you rent for a year. So why do you put it in the monthly rental section, just to deceive people, its called dirty marketing. And the text that you write in the description of the ads does not comply with any rules. Its the same as putting out a car that costs 100 thousand dollars and write that it costs 20 thousand, but in the description of the ad to indicate that 20 thousand costs only a wheel. Scam and scam again. Do not contact them.

Wanted to extend, emailed notifying them a week with no response. They were so late to respond, when they did they said I have to move out as someone booked. The guy that was helping me was on vacation despite me following up everyday no one else responded (its a common inbox for sales department) now I have to endure the moving costs. I dont recommend this company! --------------------- Reply to response: I understand, hope he is well. However I didnt get have any visibility of him being out of office, there was no auto reply set up. And now as a result I am having to be forced out after I had confirmed multiple times via email that I approve the extension and was awaiting a link from him for payment. Obviously this is very inconvenient, I have already attempted to call 3 of the sales reps to resolve this but no one has returned my call. No one has been reaching out to help. The logical resolution would be to reassign the new booking as the people have not yet moved in and wont be doing so for another month. That would be the best case for everyone. Again, had your rep responded, or assigned it to someone else we wouldnt be in this situation.

Extremely poor quality of the apartments offered (despite all the nice pictures every piece of furniture and equipment is falling apart) and really bad experience overall. Have been renting an apartment for 1+ year (few extensions) but experienced breakdowns, leakages and other issues on a weekly basis (5-10 major water leakages; 5+ dishwasher breakdowns etc.). The company / landlord wants to purely make the most money of out it and does bare minimum (patchwork support) to temporarily solve issues at the lowest cost - which often lasts only days. At the same time service crews are incompetent - as a result either need several visits to fix simple things or things break down again few days later. Would not recommend anyone.

WARNING!!! Do NOT book something via Blueground!!!! Worst company ever. Never in my life met such unprofessional company. I ve booked an apartment, fully prepaid 6month at creek Harbour. Never got excess to the booked apartment. They ve put me in to 2 other apartments not even close to the booked one ! all around construction 24/7. No compromises from Blueground only thing happened? It s got more horrible. Didn t received any access cards, so could not use any amenities (pool,gym etc.) Hours of phone calls, emails. By the end of 2023 water leakage in the master bathroom. Till I moved out finally end of march nothing happened. After idea of relocation, they shared one bedroom apartments not even close to the prepaid 2bedroom such as the area. After all that, they didn t even tried to make some compensation. Better, they tried to charge me for things they already where messed up in this apartment with my moving. Nightmare Experience - The Worst Host Ever I dont even know where to begin with this disastrous Airbnb experience. Our stay at Bluegrounds apartment was nothing short of a living nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering booking with them to run in the opposite direction. This host and their property have officially claimed the title of the worst in the universe. First and foremost, the apartment was plagued with issues that the host conveniently chose to ignore. The bathtub leaked incessantly, turning the bathroom into a perpetual slip-and-slide. The window was also broken and rain came inside. Despite reporting this problem repeatedly, Blueground displayed a shocking lack of concern and failed to take any corrective action. To add insult to injury, the toilet was broken for weeks on end. Its mind-boggling that a basic necessity like a functioning toilet was beyond the capabilities of this so-called host. Water was everywhere, with a balcony that resembled a swimming pool due to a blocked drain. Our attempts to reach out for assistance were met with indifference. Whats more, Blueground had the audacity to promise three saunas as part of the amenities, but surprise, surprise there was no sauna to be found. False advertising at its finest. Its clear that honesty and integrity are not part of this hosts vocabulary. To top it all off, the promised free car parking card never materialized. We were left scrambling for parking, adding an unnecessary layer of stress to our already horrendous stay. The sheer negligence and incompetence displayed by this host are unparalleled. In summary, steer clear of Bluegrounds property unless you enjoy living in a perpetual state of chaos and disappointment. This host has set a new low in the hospitality industry, and I cannot emphasize enough how utterly dreadful our experience was. Save yourself the trouble and find accommodation elsewhere anywhere would be an improvement over this catastrophe.

Save your money and book elsewhere. Blueground is the worst rental company I ve experienced in Dubai and I ve had many. I ve been staying with them since beginning of the year, and when I couldn t extend the apartment I was staying at, I booked another. One day before the move they call me to tell me that new apartment isn t actually ready and I ll have to stay for max 3 days in another. Very frustrating because I have a lot of things. I had ton of issues with moving permits, I had to call and message constantly BG to get help. After 1 day in temporary place, they tell me I have to move again! Unbelievable, how could they allow that to happen? All my things were in new apartment and I only packed for 3 days. I was left in temporary apartment for over 3 WEEKS. With barely any of my belongings and no access to the new apartment. After the 3 week nightmare, I could move into apartment and they only offered 1 week free of compensation! After all the put me through, problem and problem. Now I have to check out again and even beside my whole experience I still want to book another apartment with them, but sales hasn t replied to me in 2 days! The level of mismanagement and incompetence is beyond. They don t care about their customers.

The apartment was exactly as it is showcased in the photos, the location was amazing, across the street is Dubai Hills Mall, the surroundings are great. The apartment had everything needed and the building amenities were great. Best thing is that you can access any location easily without traffic. The support on the app is very responsive. I requested a late checkout and they gladly extended my stay without additional charges. I am so in love with this apartment and the support of Blueground team. The service is amazing. I am compelled to share my disappointing experience with Blueground Dubai. Firstly, we have been without internet for over a month. Despite repeated requests, the management seems incapable of organizing a technician to resolve the issue. This lack of internet has caused significant inconvenience. Secondly, the customer support experience has been far from satisfactory. On the rare occasions when I receive a response, its apparent that they havent bothered to read or understand the history of my case. This lack of attention to detail and poor communication is frustrating. Lastly, our initial experience set a negative tone for our entire stay. Upon arrival, we were informed at the last minute that our apartment was unavailable, forcing us to find alternative accommodation for the night. This was not only inconvenient but also added unnecessary stress to our travel. In summary, I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided by Blueground. From poor communication to a lack of basic amenities like internet, this experience has been far below acceptable standards. I urge potential renters to consider other options. PLEASE AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS. Here is why you should never use this service: 1. Wi-Fi did not work as intended upon arrival and I had to wait 3 days without wifi to finally have a technician come and fix it. It was a nightmare to contact customer support as I did not have a sim. 2. Their cleaners also threw an extremely valuable item worth over $1,000 in the trash without even asking me. 3. The water system of the apartment is extremely poor. Turning on the tap causes rusted yellow urine-like water to come out of it. This service is about the same price as a hotel and it is nothing more than horrific. I could go on all day about how unprofessional Blueground is and how they do not show the slightest care for their customers. I was planning to potentially invest a significant amount of money to this service if it deemed sufficient. However, I will not be returning to Blueground. Lesson learned.

The communication was friendly at first and the website and app look fancy. Three days before my move-in date I was informed that my reserved flat needs some maintenance and hence I have been temporarily put in a different building at the which is facing the loud main road instead of the green communal area. Not amazed but ok, that can happen. UPDATE: After being relocated to a not-great interim flat at the same cost, and waiting to move to my reserved flat, I was informed that my reserved flat would not be available at all due to persistent maintenance problems. I had already paid rent + fees + deposit all upfront. I agreed to pay the pro-rata rent for the interim flat that I stayed in for one week (I would had never moved there if I knew the reserved flat will not be available but ok.....). Now Blueground is also requesting to keep the booking fees despite not having realized one night in the flat referred to in the contract. Blueground is in breach of contract as they cannot provide the flat we did pay for. They aim to position it as early termination from our side if we do not accept an alternative flat and keep the fees. The whole experience with Blueground is very painful. Do NOT book with them. I wish I read the other reviews earlier.

Avoid! Weve booked an apartment in Orra Marina for a month. First thing that welcomed us was not a Blueground representative (you need to go to the apartment by yourself), but a terrible smell, mould and dampness inside the apartment. There was also a minor leak and the whole apartment was dirty - we even found some long black hair in the bed. Also, the wifi didnt work and as we both work remotely, we immediately reported those issues to the Blueground. They send us a few useless messages advising to reset router (didnt work). We requested refund or transfer to a different apartment as we couldnt work and couldnt bear the smell. And we got a different apartment but it was on the 2nd floor, just in front of a very busy road. I was sleeping in ear plugs and still woke up a few times each night to the sound of passing cars. That apartment was in better condition (no mould) but still I had to clean it myself when we arrived. But whats interesting, after almost 2 weeks from our check out, Blueground wanted to charge us additional amount for missing items and a stain on a mattress cover. Obviously, we didnt take anything from the apartment - missing wine glasses and a bowl were simply in a different cabinet, they just didnt bother to check. And the stain was there when we arrived (it already looked pretty old). Also, claiming damages after 2 weeks? Anyone could have been in the apartment during those 2 weeks and they could have done whatever they wanted, and we would never know. I used different booking services all around the world and I never had such situation before. The lady from the support claimed that they did apartment inspection right after our check out, so why not contacting us then? Stop making fools out of people. This is the most ridiculous company Ive ever encountered. Not to mention their lack of response or responding after 2-3 days to urgent issues. Oh, one more - we were supposed to check out on 20th of Oct, and got a message from the support to make the apartment available for visitors on 20th at 16:30, so that they can see if they want to rent it. So, the staff dont even comprehend the basic information about their guests stays.

So basically Blueground is incapable of conducting basic maintenance required to lend property to someone. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS! They do not want to serve you but deceive you. Unfortunately, less than one star is not possible, as even one star is way more than this fraudulent company deserves. I booked an apartment with them via AirBnB including a pet. The profile says that pets are allowed and there may be extra charges. Since a small cleaning charge is normal for pets, I did not pay more attention to it and proceeded with the booking. Almost instantly, I received a payment request for a pet fee of 1500 dirhams (almost 400 US dollars!). This is obviously preposterous and about ten times the going rate in Dubai. They had hidden this fee in the small print of house rules that are virtually impossible to find on the profile page. But they are there. The fee was hidden in the middle of a lengthy small-print document. The company refused to cancel the reservation once I found out about this fee, literally minutes after making the booking. Instead, they continued blackmailing for the horrendous fee or else they deny check-in (and of course run with my money). I made the case to AirBnB support and also they begged the company to cancel the reservation. No. They refused point blank. Because of the small-print, despite this being blatantly unethical behaviour, the company got away with what was obviously a maliciously designed fraud.

There was a gas leak and the gas alarm went on all the time, the air conditioning didnt work at 40 DEGREES which was catastrophic, it smelled terrible everywhere and there was mold! Don t be fooled by their fancy app or auto generated emails. Pictures shown for apartment were taken professionally to make you think it s a big unit. The actual size are way smaller so be aware and visit the unit before signing any contract. Their way of welcoming with email that you will be escorted to your unit and all your questions will be answered, false!!! We had to figure out everything by ourselves! The answer by their representative, they apologize and make sure next client won t go through what we have experienced! To find a designated parking for our unit, had to refer to app where response was that issue has been filed and after so many hours running around, we managed to locate the parking so can park and have some rest. Not a great experience for the amount of money they charge. Be aware and look for other options.

This company is the biggest scam I have ever seen!! DO NOT BOOK with them at all cost ! 1 day before my arrival they tell me my apartment has a leaking issues so they will give me another one. I arrive in 2nd apartment around 7pm and SURPRISE no A/C and no electricity. It took 3 hours to get technical team to tell me at 10 pm that they cannot fix it. After 100 calls (not kidding) they give me at MIDNIGHT another apartment in another tower in Dubai Marina. Longing for a hot shower after CRAZY day, SURPRISE not hot water ! And the apartment is not clean. After hundreds calls and 3 days they now want me to move again in another low quality apartment. Which obviously I refused. I wont move until I get full refund or proper compensation. Only thing they can do is waive from 50% OFF the relocation fees LMAO which does not even apply as I booked with Airbnb. I stayed at Blueground apartment at Sanibel for 8 months this year. I needed a furnished apartment before Relocating to Dubai and blueground offered a solution. Overall, I would stay again and recommend blueground but there are obviously room for improvements (hence the reason for 4 star rating) 1) check in day: our apartment was not clean and the cleaning team was finishing up while we were there. Have 1-2 days before each tenant. First impressions matter 2) parking key cards: it was not working and it took seven days to get a new one. Make sure cards do work before each tenant moves in During our stay, we had 4-5 issues with the apartment and each time blueground team did their best to fix. There were times it took long but I think it is due to Dubai related where getting a handyman and fixing the problem are not easy sometimes

I had an apartment in Dubai creek Harbour. The apartment itself was nice and clean. Unfortunately the entry key stopped to work and Blueground needed a couple of days to deactivate my entry card. The concierges of the building helped me to enter the building. So just a Little Bit unconveniant in, but bearable. Gym and pool were absolute ok, nothing special but ok. I was happy to see that Blueground supplied the apartment with everything needed to live there for a couple of weeks. (Trash bags, dish washer and washing machine soap, towels, toilet paper, kitchen tissues.) over all it was a very good experience and I would recommend to book at Blueground.

Wish I had of read the reviews before we arranged a viewing. Spoke to what seemed like a helpful agent & arranged a viewing in the marina. I rang that morning asking if they could accommodate a time one hour earlier than previously arranged and they said they would call me back to confirm, but they never did. So I kept my original time and when we got to the apartment building, no agent was there to meet us. We rang the company and the person on the phone said they couldn t get through to the Agent we were due to meet & said they d call us back in 15 mins. Baring in mind at this point it was already 10 minutes after the viewing booking time. We were in the car park for another 10 minutes and called back and got the same response again. I rented an apartment for a month and this was a huge mistake . I walked into the apartment with a huge mold in the kitchen as well as a broken sealing . They came to clean my apartment and took my medical pillow that I traveled with specifically because I have neck problems, they then said no we didn t take it . Instead of actually trying their best to find it for me. The Appartment smelled like chicken masala + garlic . I stayed in the residence tower one -downtown. Very bad experience. As a landlord, I should have trusted the reviews on here and opted out from signing anything with Blueground. The service is horrible, emails get ignored, they only reach out when they want something from you (a payment in most cases); they do not respect signed agreements and constantly breach them, especially with seeking the landlords consent before attempting to alter or fix anything in the apartment, they just send an invoice after the unauthorized work has been finished and start spamming you with phone calls and emails to receive the payment. I guess no legal action has been taken against them before thats why they still feel confident in breaching contracts till this day. Forget about accessing your apartment, even with a 48h notice, they intentionally ignore your emails and claim they havent received such requests. It has definitely been a horrifric experience and I sincerely do not recommend Blueground to handle any property, there are more reputable and much better companies in Dubai right now who do a more competent job and are experts at what they do.

Ive traveled all over the world, and normally stay in AirBnbs most of the time. My friend recommended Blueground after he saw an advert, so I decided to give them a try myself before rolling them out for the other people in my company. I came to Dubai for a 3-months period, my first flat I used smelt as soon as I walked through the door, and they sent cleaners to clean straight away, the smell didnt go away, but in my head I put this down to maybe sewage and thought - at least they tried. I then moved to another apartment, it was lovely, a great view and then decided to move to an Airbnb for my final month, as it was in a better proximity. As soon as I made them aware of me not going to another blueground I received a bill of 933.94AED (~$245) This what its for: -spatula (dh123.20) -coffee cup (dh123.20) -frying pan (dh187.81) -water glass (dh110.46) -duvet king (dh175.07) -6 teacup plates grey (missing) dh214.20 I have to say, I did no cooking in the flat the entire time (Dubai is good like that), and I use my own cups when I go away (cause Im weird like that), and to think I stole 6 grey plates is just crazy to me! Ive made this aware to Blueground, and they have just sent me an automated response. Never in my 10-years of traveling around for months on end have I ever not received my deposit back. Ive asked for before photos of the items as Im convinced this is from a previous tenant and they have not sent them. Blueground is great on the surface, but unfortunately, there is lack of due diligence that you would expect from a large company like this and when it comes to it, if your inspector is doing due diligence, you could be landed with someone elses fee. Wont be able to use them again unfortunately, back to Airbnb!

I rented an apartment, checked in and saw a lot of cockroaches. This is the first time in the last 30 years. The company is international, in my case this was a minus. Support can only call for cleaning. Even room disinfection is a problem for them. It is impossible to resolve the issue with the manager, since there are holidays in Greece (not surprising). Nobody has any responsibility at all. But its a beautiful application. In addition, I was faced with an understaffing in the apartment. But compared to the running cockroaches, this is a trifle. As a result, the experience was deeply negative. UPD. At the end of 4 weeks of living, in addition to cockroaches, the boiler leaked and flooded the entire apartment with water; before that, the sink drain leaked. It was a terrifying living experience

Good interiors, however the units are overpriced + they will took a lot of strange fees, including the insane price for the cleaning upon the check out, which is 650 aed. Just FYI - even a deep cleaning services in Dubai are cheaper than 650, the regular cleaning is 200 aed max, so I have no idea where they are taking these prices from. Units looks good, but mine was very dirty, floors are cheap and dirt is always in the house - I was told that floors are dirty because Dubai is a dusty city, which is ridiculous. When I moved in the apartment the shower was broken + I also spent more then a month helping them to fix the A/C. In the end they tried to charge me with 500 aed upon check out for the pet hair in the apartment, but I had to remind them that I paid extra 1500 aed just to live there with a dog + also paid 650 aed for cleaning services, which is more than enough money to clean any pet hair from any floors and carpets in the apartment. They apologized and didnt charge these 500 aed, but the fact that I had to write all these emails to avoid these unnecessary fees is not cool at all. Bad experience, wouldnt recommend to stay there.

Not happy with how I was treated with regards to unavailability of parking card for the first five days of my stay. I had to call Blueground for about 10 times during the period, visit the concierge for a few times and literally beg the security to allow my car in. Rented and paid months in advance for an apt in Dubai start end Dec 22 . A week before got a message that apt could be not available because owner had not renewed rent After my concerned but firm answer in a few hours apt came back to be available Check in is totally self service, noone present from the company and receptionist of building not aware of what to do . Exactly as described. The unit was very well maintained and the interior matched the photos exactly. The one washroom was very worn, but other than that, everything else seemed to be in good condition. We had a bit of a challenge checking in as the owner of the unit had not provided proof of mortgage payment to the building management company. This delayed check in by half a day and caused quite a bit of stress on our family. Blueground stayed in constant communication and did everything in their power to rectify the issue. They even had offered to provide alternative accommodation should this unit fall through. After the day of back and forth while waiting in the lobby, the issue was resolved and we were able to move in. From the time we moved in until the time we left, there were no issues with the unit or Blueground. We will 100% be contacting Blueground again if we plan another long term stay in Dubai.

After two days of no cooling (my apartment is facing the sun all day and reaches 30+ degrees inside without it) I was offered a relocation to an apartment that is worse in all aspects than the apartment I currently pay for. The communication from Blueground is very disappointing: we paid the bills, its Empowers fault. Blueground offers me to send maintenance staff to my apartment and they concluded after inspection: you are not receiving chilled water. This was a waste of time for everyone since it was known upfront that its a billing issue not a technical issue. We are almost at day 7 and I am not able to live in the apartment that I pay for and where I have my full work-from-home setup with standing desk, office chair and monitors. As these are serviced apartments it is Bluegrounds responsibility to pay the cooling bills since the bill is not in my name. I pay a premium for a fully serviced apartment yet I am completely powerless because two companies are not able to figure out on how to get a bill settled. Usually Bluegrounds support is great but now I am extremely disappointed because this is a huge disruption in my life and productivity.
